My girlfriend and I went there for dinner last night. We read the reviews about the pizza and I really wanted to try it. I can handle the fact that’s it’s a seedy, dirty little joint. I have spent a lot of time in bars. What I can’t handle is the fact that we are both very sick today. My girlfriend is in the bathroom puking her guts out as I type this. I feel another wave coming on as well. Thanks boones junction for ruining our Saturday. Oh and the pizza didn’t even taste that great and the service blew.

I had big hopes for this place. It looked like a great hole in the wall with good possibilities… Unfortunately, I had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke on the deck to get to the door. All the locals congregate smoking outside the front. Not a big deal but was unpleasant. My beer was flat and not very cold. I ordered the hickory smoked ribs, I received a huge portion but they were not hickory smoked. They were freshly boiled(water on plate) and had some barbq sauce hastily dumped on them. Bar tender went out to smoke with the locals and never saw her for 20 minutes. This place has all the potential in the world but missed the mark in every way. They would have a loyal customer if they gave just a little effort.

Went for the pizza, stayed for the ambiance. Fun place with great food. As another reviewer posted, Fresh, crisp, piping out hot Beer Battered Fries! — yummers!!!

Anybody rating this place less than a 4 is literally just looking to complain about something. The food is absolutely incredible. I eat here as often as possible, staff is very friendly and a pleasure to be around. The wait for food might take a little longer than McDonalds but who cares when its good quality and the pizzas are hand made and everything on them is fresh cut. I love this place and would highly recommend it to anybody passing by or looking for something new. Thank you boons junction to you and all your staff.

I guess we are some of those loud regulars who like strong drinks. Over forty. But definitely not karaōke singers. I find it charming here. I don’t have to wear heels. The bar grub is tasty. Chris and Rhonda are nice girls who keep my ice refreshed. If they over serve me I can crawl home. .

An adventure. First try was a big miss. We went in for the pizza based on prior reviews. It was nothing special and very greasy. On the positive, the beers were icy cold and the price was right. Service friendly but slow. Atmosphere was like someone’s rundown back deck. The loud regulars are probably a testament to strong drinks. Lots of flies, but it’s open air so somewhat expected. Doubt we will go back.

Large dance floor! Service is usually slow but since it’s the closest bar near my house I don’t mind.

Best pizza! Down to earth casual atmosphere! Great service, strong drinks. Had a wonderful time on a date there visiting my boyfriend. We just wanted good food and drinks, a place to be together, it was perfect.

Have you ever sat at a restaurant, look out the window at another restaurant and wish you had chosen that place instead of where you are sitting? I did today. Boones Junction is within spitting distance of The Ram in Wilsonville, and we should have eaten there. If I could I would give this place 0 stars. Upon arrival we walked into the restaurant/bar THROUGH the smoking porch. Then we were told to sit anywhere we wanted. We picked a table and sat. The table and bench seats listed towards the outside, so we were constantly sitting on an incline. The staff member was on first name basis with the two rednecks two tables over and spent a lot of time with them and making sure they had their needs met. When she finally did come to our table she looked like it was a bother to serve us. We ordered drinks(a beer for my partner and a bloody mary for me) and she was off. A good ten minutes later she brought our drinks and said«I’ll be right back to take your food order.» Another ten minutes and she returned. I ordered a breakfast plate and my partner ordered a burger. The length of time it took to bring our food had me thinking they were either waiting for the cow to die of natural causes before grinding them meat for my partners burger, OR they were attempting to coax two eggs from an already overworked chicken somewhere out back. After 20 minutes our food arrived. Our drinks were dry by then. When staff finally returned, she offered to refresh our drinks. When our food arrived, my two sausage links had the look and texture of sausage jerky, the staff asked me how I had ordered my eggs because I guess she forgot… um…why? The other plate was a burger… was there a mixup in the kitchen with someone else’s order? Whatever… My partner picked up an onion ring and said it was laden with oil… onion rings should be light, not heavy. Consequently he didn’t eat a lot of them. Price point? About par for a dive joint, but overpriced for what you get. If you are looking for a place to eat in Wilsonville, steer VERYCLEAR of Boones Junction. Even 7 – 11 roller food is potentially better, at least there you won’t have to sit on an angle. This place has now moved to the top of my list of ‘places to avoid at any cost’.

We LOVE this place! We just had a amazing breakfast there… Chicken fried steak over hash browns, topped with biscuits and poached eggs all smothered in gravy! Yum! They also have the BEST pizza in town and on Fri nights they have a karaōke. We love coming here! It’s nothing fancy, but the food is great and they don’t skimp on the drinks or the service.

Not impressed. We wanted to support the local guy but I am afraid this wasn’t very good. Long wait for food — pizza was very soggy, hard to eat. Seating area away from the bar was dirty, flies all about. Complete disappointment. Maybe we were here on a bad day? Even the server complained she was tired and ready to leave — why are you telling us this? So sorry to bother you.

Thank you Boones! I have been searching for beer battered/pub fries for quite some time. I can’t believe it took me this long to find them! I’ve tried most fries in wilsonville and Boones are by far the best! Fresh, crisp, piping out hot beer battered fries! Not the ones that are from the frozen section at your local grocer. I’m going to become a regular! Now for their pizza, it was very good. Light, crispy, flavorful, and did I mention fresh. Nothing that’s been sitting under a heat lamp or warmer. We had to wait a good 30 min or so but it was because the pizza was being freshly made! I don’t think I should keep going otherwise this place might get too packed ;) This place is one of a kind and if your one for adventure just give it a try it! The food is worth it!

If you are looking for somewhere fancy, this isn’t your place. It’s a hole-in-the-wall dive bar with spectacular pizza. We love dive bars and the pizza is seriously amazing. The rest of the food is so-so but the pizza and cold beer is highly recommended.

My boyfriend and i were stopping through Oregon on a road trip stayed in Wilsonville. We rolled in kind of late and were wanting some pizza. Googled searched some pizza and ended up going with Boones Junction. We ordered a pizza to go but ended up staying and having a couple drinks and got entertained by some pretty awesome people! The pizza i don’t think was worth the price but atmosphere was great and would definitely go back here!

The staff is ultra friendly, but the food just ain’t that good. I had a burger and a side salad. The burger had no flavor and the salad was gross.

Ya can’t always tell a book by its cover. This place has fabulous pizza, grat burgers and don’t miss the prime rib sandwich with a jus that is incredible. And Michael just made the best pancake I’ve ever had. Even better then my dads

Not much on the outside but great food and people inside. Our go to place for pizza! If you want anchovies you will have to take your own. The Ribs and Prime Rib Sandwich are great also. Great staff and she knows us when we walk in the door. Nice patio for summer dining. Reasonable prices and good beer selection. Music on Friday and Saturday evening so the parking lot will be full.

I’m partial because I work here, but this place really is like cheers where everyone knows your name. The pizza is awesome, the drinks are great, the atmosphere is quirky and Boones overall can be a great place to hang out! There’s a big porch for hanging outside in the summer and there’s live music most Wednesdays, karaōke fri & sat, and poker on Tuesday!

I’m not 40 nor do I sing country songs at karaōke. So I don’t think I’ll be heading back here anytime soon. Thought I’d just check out the bars in Wilsonville. Now whenever I say«Na, I don’t feel like going into Portland tonight», I think about this.

«I’ve got friends in low places…» One part roadhouse, one part local hangout, one part karaōke lounge. I’ve been eyeing this place for years, but had never been inside because frankly it looks a little rough. Sitting at the bar is the way to go and my service was much better the first time around. On the second visit, I sat in the dining area, which reminds me of a converted garage. I’m really waiting to break in the covered patio one sunny afternoon. There is a large tree that dominates the space and it just looks like a great place to escape with friends. The lunch menu is primarily pizza and sandwiches. Pizzas are served as individual(eight slice) pies and come with a side salad. Sandwiches are served with a bag of chips. Drinks are Coke products with free refills. The food is not great, but it is okay. This is a back to the basics kind of place and everything I’ve had is on the mild side, so don’t expect a kick when you order the spicy chicken. The place is rough around the edges and I kind of like it. I’ve been working in this city for close to 15 years and this is about the only restaurant in town not in a strip mall. It actually has some character and a little grit. This reminds me of what Wanker’s Corner used to be before they moved to Wilsonville and got all corporate. The current owners have had the place for six years and they have a core group of regulars. They have live music, karaōke on Friday nights and a couple of TVs to watch games. When I’m here I can’t help singing the Garth Brooks song above in my head. This place is its own kind of oasis in Wilsonville. And yes, they have whiskey.
