We stayed here for two nights in mid-October. It is a beautiful inn and the room was huge! The bed was so comfortable and there was a whirlpool tub. The innkeepers are so nice and clearly invested in the community. The food(breakfast for inn guests and dinner for everyone) was AMAZING. It’s all farm-fresh and local, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food! Everyone on staff is friendly and the live music on Friday night was great! I would definitely recommend this inn and tavern to anyone. The only downside was the fact that the town is definitely still suffering from the hurricane. Most of the stores and restaurants were closed, but there were a few good places to eat still, and there are other towns that weren’t as hard hit as Wilmington within a thirty minute drive or so.

The door to the inn says«welcome friends.» I think they mean it! The place is warm and cozy and the gentlemen managing the inn re very friendly and thoughtful. It’s as nice a BB as you are likely to find. And wait until you’ve had their banana bread French toast for breakfast!
