They were rude and mean. she was like u should not move otherwise ur hair get messed up and she kept pushing my daughters head down. Seriouly u dont know know how to behave to kids. Decided to give Supercuts another try, since going out of my way to go to a salon in Philly is too much time and trouble from where I live. I guess I keep hoping that I will hit upon that one stylist in my general area who’ll finally get it right with my hair. I think I found her in Melissa. She did a great job of cutting it straight across and even, took her time, measured, and on top of it all, was pleasant, giving me no attitude. One of the managers, Susan, though pleasant enough in person, could stand to learn a little better customer service over the phone. When I called before my arrival, she spoke in a rush, hung up on me in a rush, then cut my hair in a rush as well. She really didn’t take the time to measure sections, but rather eyeballed it and cut bits here and there without measuring for evenness. Needless to say, I later found pieces that were 1 – 2 inches longer in places, and a piece in the back that was at least 3 – 4 inches longer than the rest of it. Maybe she has no patience for my type of thick curly hair? I will give her the benefit of the doubt in saying I’m sure she may be good with other types of hair since she’s a manager of a salon, so she must have some knowledge and skills, but I’m afraid I will not be going to her again for my hair. The salon rates a 3 stars from me overall, but I upped it to 4 stars for Melissa alone, who came through and saved the day for me. She earned my deepest gratitude for working with my hair and giving me an even cut all around. When my hair finally grows out and regains some of it’s former length, as long as she’s still working at this location, she has my future business and tips.
