Came in here on a Wednesday. Apparently cheesesteaks are $ 5 today, would have been nice to know before I ordered. Short guy with dark hair and full beard is about as personable as a rock in my yard. I realized I don’t have pair of tits on me but if you’d give your customers as much attention as you gave the blonde behind the bar, today wouldn’t be a «total bust» as you said. Never once did he asked me how was my meal(btw, don’t order the buffalo chicken sandwich, not sure how you can screw it up but they did). Blonde girl behind bar is nice, at least she will smile and talk to you. The lady that appeared to be the manager was unhappy and in pain. Hint: If you are going to work in the restaurant/hospitality business and you can’t smile and talk to your customers it may be time to move on to a different career.

I’ve been here twice, both of which were to enjoy the outdoor bar. Sadly, both experiences left much to be desired. The variety on drink and food menus doesn’t wow and the service has just been sad. Please don’t work in food service if you’re awkward and have no personal skills. This is the type of place to go if you want a beer and to be left alone until you’re ready for the check or a refill, or I guess if you love mediocrity.

Adorable little patio in the back and $ 10 buckets of Miller Lite on a Friday night! What’s not to love!

Awesome happy hour specials and delicious food? What more could you ask for?! The back deck is an awesome happy hour spot to sit and drink a bucket of beers and some navajo nachos!

Stopped in for a drink after spotting it from down the road. The inside bar was dark but comfortable. The true treasure is the outdoor bar area. This outdoor bar with cool seating areas, tables, tvs and full bar was a fun spot to hang out on a nice day. The only unfortunate thing about the outside area is that smoking is allowed and it has walls that enclose it, so you can’t escape the cigarette smoke. We each had a cider $ 6, and it was a one and done kinda visit.

Second favorite bar in TS to tap house. Somewhat chill and cool outdoor bar in the back. I could have sworn they had corn hole back there, but I haven’t seen it since; regardless it would be a good addition. Also a few more beers on tap would be a big plus.

Being new to the area, we were looking for a younger persons’ bar with cheap drinks and good food. At this bar, we got exactly that. They had great wings, with beer and mixed drink specials. Definitely would go back.

I left unimpressed. I ordered a grilled cheese and bowl of soup. The soup tasted like marinara. Our waitress was great, very sociable. Set up of the bar was odd, we didnt know where to stand to be sat to eat in the very very back of the joint, walking out we werr stared at by patrons which i found super ofd bc we are always a quiet group… Maybe it was just me.

I usually go on Mondays for the $ 6 burger special, my personal favorites are the Tijuana Turkey Burger and the Rawhide. It’s a good deal and leaves me filled but not stuffed. The beer selection is good and the happy hour specials are great.

I only come here for takeout so I’m speaking solely on takeout food quality. I usually only get cheesesteak rolls which aren’t the best but certainly not the worst, however I tried their wings for the first time and was horrified. I will note that I asked for my wings well done(There’s nothing I hate more than soggy wings) but these wings were literally fried to their max. I don’t know how to describe them, they were so well done there was barely any hard meat left on it, nothing but fried bone. The wings that had neat on it were so tough I couldn’t eat them. I have never had to order wings and then go back and explain that I just mean not soggy don’t fry to an absolute crisp. Apparently here you do, so for that reason I’ll stick with bww for some late night mild wings.

Pretty great spot. Business-fancy, dimly-lit inside, but the highlight for me is the solid outdoor bar/patio section. I go for the happy hour specials. Excellent little $ 5 menu and drink specials. Daily specials are well worth it as well.

Love the daily specials here! The $ 6 Burger special on Monday is unbeatable for the quality of burger. My personal faves are the Wild Mushroom and the B&B(just look at the pics!). I appreciate that hey give you the option to sub carrots and celery of cucumber salad as a side if you want a less greasy option. On Wednesdays they have $ 5 cheesesteaks which are also tasty and you can get a chicken cheeseteak if you prefer. The service is fast and friendly when I’ve been and the bar has an overall good vibe.

Food: 3 stars. It’s better than most bar food but nothing special. Drinks: 4 stars. Although they do not have a super extensive beer menu, they rotate in interesting ones, which I appreciate. Ambiance: 3 stars. If the weather is warm, the back patio is nice, though we were greeted by a few overly friendly mice. The inside, however is a bit too dingy for my taste. Service: 0 stars. Our waitress’s shift apparently ended seeing as she left in the middle of serving us without warning, and a new waiter reluctantly took over. I left a 23% tip, but apparently that wasn’t good enough, because my credit card statement just came back and he upped his tip to 37%. I guess next time I’ll know to only use cash…

Scratch’s will always be a place where I am sure to have a great time. Their menu has something for everyone, even the pickiest of eaters like my husband! We love their Pot Stickers because they offer them pan-fried or deep fried, and they are so delicious. The ambiance of this place is both relaxing and up beat. They also have an amazing outdoor patio with a full bar and a deck with seating and hanging lights. I’ve always had a great time and meal at Scratch’s! One of my favorite places in Delaware!

Upscale sports bar… came here with some friends to celebrate a birthday. The bartender was attentive and the drinks were decent not particularly strong. They have two TVs behind the bar to watch the game. The attire is nice casual. You can get away with a sweatshirt or be a little bit more dressed up. There aren’t a ton of seats so be prepared to stand. It is a cozy, chill place. Will be back!

This is a go-to spot for a lot of my friends and colleagues, so I’m a little torn on this review. The drinks are just fine, but the food is OK from what I’ve had so far. I tried a piece of calamari that was really good, and I heard that the hummus is good too!(How can you mess up hummus, though? Hee hee.) My DC had the cheesesteak egg rolls and he said they were fine, but wasn’t swooning. We also had the bruschetta as an appetizer. It wasn’t bad, but mine fell apart so easily when I tried to pick it up that I’m pretty sure the bread was broken before it got to our table. Blorg. I had the grilled cheese and soup, with a side of fries. I think it was a lot of food for the price and I appreciated that. The soup was okay(tomato basil) but didn’t have a lot of character. The fries were good — I will say that. The grilled cheese had an enormous amount of cheese and was the kind of crispy bread that cut the roof of my mouth. My DC ended up eating a lot of my leftovers, and I applaud our server for laughing with us about that. Of course I will come back here — it’s Scratch’s. That’s what you do. But I think I’ll try something different next time to make this review better than just ‘ok’.
