Thomas is the BEST! He has such great talent and takes pride in how he makes you look and feel. He is not afraid to think outside the box when considering a new cut, color and style. He knows just what to do to my hair that makes me feel new again.

As excellent of an experience at a salon as I’ve ever had. Doug somehow managed to exceed the lofty expectations which brought me in to see him at Salon Beyond Basics in the first place. In addition to giving me a great cut, he was extremely generous with his time and expertise in helping me craft a new look and teaching me how to maintain it. Doug has since followed up to make sure I’m happy with the cut and to help me find the right products as well as identify a local contact (NYC) who can maintain it until I have the chance to get back down to NC to see him again, which I’m looking forward to. Great value also.

I came to this salon from Raleigh, and will definitely come back. Meghan cut my cury hair using the deva technique and I love it. I was skeptical at first, because is cut dry instead of wet. It looked awesome when she was done though and I will be back for sure! Plus everyone at the salon is very friendly. Well worth the trip.

A friend recommended Bethany to cut my hair and she did a fabulous job. I showed her pictures of cuts that I wanted and she really listened. I was very pleased with her technique and got a lot of compliments. I also got a facial done by Carole in the spa. She did a wonderful job as well. I ended up buying some of the store products and my face has never looked better. Carole is very knowledgable and explains everything she does during the process.

Having moved from So Cal I had tried another salon close to my house, which was ok, but coming from a salon that included the most amazing head, neck, and shoulder massage I had high expectations. While this didn’t quite meet my So Cal expectations, it’s the best I’ve found so far. I saw Chris. I showed him pictures of what wanted and he did nearly perfect hair color. A fantastic cut! The overall salon ambience is trendy. Definitely going back to him.
