Very unfriendly staff answer the phone with bad attitude. They wouldn’t take responsibility and would rather the patient to go to somewhere else. Don’t come to this place!!!

In my long time experience with cosmetic surgeons, I believe they tend to be good, but there are the great ones. The differences which set the great apart from the good are: technique and artistry. I deem the great ones having mastered both skills. On my holiday, while seeking a cosmetic surgeon for small procedures, I found a doctor who thinks similarly to Michelangelo, the master artist. I know it’s a tall order, but doctors can be masterful too. Michelangelo was once asked how he sculpted the famous«Pieta» in St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. The folds in Virgin Mary’s dress are very lifelike. Michelangelo allegedly replied, «I see the image in the marble first, then I carve away the extra.» Cosmetic procedures are common among my peers in southern California. Four out of five friends have experienced some procedure or another — everything from cheek implants to liposuction. I can safely say I am blessed with high cheek bones, so I’m not talking about me. lol. I stick to small procedures for now. When I went on holiday to the Phildelphia/Delaware area, I felt a need for a Botox injection to refreshen my face. I also wanted to look into Latisse(the lash lenghtener) and Juvederm to make my lips slightly stung. I suppose my search for a couple of procedures was like a mini-vacation for my face. I was referred to Dr. Coggins. He definitely can be categorized as a great cosmetic surgeon. When I see a doctor for the first time, I analyze several things. First, I believe the décor and aesthetics in a doctor’s office sets the tone of the visit. The environment should be welcoming, warm, clean and harmonious. After all, I am going to get poked with a needle! Dr. Coggins’ office is cozy, beautiful and clean. I had a chance to look around at his remarkable collection of oil paintings, imported tapestries, gorgeous rugs and paneling. From the gorgeous wood paneling and beams to the stunning arrangement of flowers, his office reminds me of someone who appreciates fine art, and takes care in making things look beautiful. It made me comfortable to see this. When I met Dr. Coggins, I immediately sensed he had a nice«bed side manner» which put me at ease. I think this is an important thing to consider when searching for a doctor, One time, I went to a «Botox Party» where I was injected by a doctor who jerked my head as he searched for a place to insert the needle. That’s when you take the word«party» out of «Botox Party.» After a careful study of my face, combined with Dr. Coggins’ in-depth knowledge about all of the products and procedures on the market, he recommended several options. I elected to try Dysport instead of Botox because I wanted to see if it had the same effect. His care to use a topical numbing gel was greatly appreciated, because my experience has always been a doctor applying a very cold and uncomfortable ice pack to the area before injection. What a nice change. Weeks later after my treatment, I think Dysport has the same effect as Botox. Next, Dr. Coggins injected the right amount of Juvederm in the right places. I think you can tell the quality of a surgeon who overdoes lip pouts. I was so nervous about looking unnatural. I didn’t want to look like I was beaten! lol. The spatial proportions between the many different areas on your face must be taken into consideration when you decide to plump your lips. Looking unnatural is not the key. You want the procedure to enhance your lips. Just after 4 days, my injection looked plump, yet natural. Dr. Coggins has a great eye for these proportions. In addition to Botox and Juvederm, I also elected to get Latisse. Dr. Coggins was skeptical of the product when it first came out on the market, but he noticed a patient who grew lashes so long, she had to trim them! Believe it! I haven’t started my treatment at home yet, but I am eager to see thick and long lashes soon. The kit was inexpensive at Dr. Coggins’ office compared to the price a friend paid in Calfiornia. The treatments were reasonable at Dr. Coggin’s office. In fact, he was kind to inform me about several money saving rebates from the product makers. This was a nice gesture because who couldn’t save a little money in an economic downturn. I would definitely return to Dr. Coggins when I am in the Philly/Delaware area. He is one of the“greats.”
