Food poisoning!!! Do not eat here! I ordered the flautas and shared with my son and we both had food poisoning the very next day. I should have known when I seen our food sitting on the counter for 15 min before the only waitress(at the time) brought us our food! And they charge a dollar extra for their dry old chips. I’m straight. I’d rather go to Dianas in Carson. And to top it all off my family and I were the only ones in the place at the time & we were practically ignored. Don’t go here unless you want to have diarrhea all night!

Came here for the first time on a Wednesday night after my sister and her boyfriend raved about their wet burritos. I order a wet burrito with red salsa and a side of fries with melted cheese on top. Our food took around 15 minutes to make, and once we left and we were getting into the car the cook caning running out with the complimentary bag of chips. The service is very nice. As for the food the wet burritos were really good, but the French fries were really hard I couldn’t even finish them. I also wasn’t a fan of the salsa that came with the chips, the oregano was a bit overwhelming. With all things considered it is a Mexican restaurant and their Mexican food is great. I see myself coming back for the wet burritos.

Amazing food, Horrible and rude staff I bought 3 burritos and they only gave me 2SMALL little cups of hot sauce, when I asked for a COUPLE more she brought me 1 and left to «do something else» Hope the business sees this and fixes it, it looks horrible as restaurant to be stingy with their shit to the customer

How did I end up here? Quite by mistake, but a good one! I was meeting my husband for lunch and on the phone, I heard«Take a left off the freeway, take a right on Wilmington». Hmmm, this was the first Mexican Restaurant I saw, so I stopped. Oops! It all turned out fine, my husband is used to this and he drove on over to meet me. Funny thing is, the restaurant we were supposed to eat at looked like it was closed, not sure if it is permanent or for a remodel. I passed right by here and had to go around the big block, and luckily I did, because there is a small parking lot behind the restaurant. I parked there. Beware of your surroundings, especially at night.
Back to the review… the restaurant is a nice place with kind of the usual types of decorations. When you first walk in, you notice the huge jars of Aguas Frescas. We got the Horchata and it was super delicious! I could have drank a lot more than the 1 cup! They have chips kept warm under a lamp. There are 2 TVs, but only one was on and it was playing what sounded like a Soap Opera. This is a VERY affordable option… all of the tacos are $ 1.00 except for the lengua(tongue) and tripas(guts). These tacos are small, like street taco size. Burritos cost between $ 4-$ 6. If you are still wanting something sweet after your meal, they serve ice cream by the scoop! They have a good sized menu, probably something for everyone! After we were seated, we were given a basket with chips & salsa. There were like 15 chips in that basket, of which we consumed rather quickly. We asked for more chips & salsa and the basket was filled. The salsa DOES has a little kick to it! To us, it wasn’t very spicy, but if you like mild, then this is a little above that, more like a medium. After the 5th dip with chips, my son quit, he said it was too hot. The waitress(yes, just 1 at that time) kept busy by making sure people were doing okay, clearing off tables, and gathering up the to-go orders. We had a simple order, just got carne asada tacos and a combo plate with al pastor tacos, rice, and beans. I enjoyed my tacos! The rice & beans are typical of what you get at most Mexican Restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised to find radish slices and a half of a lime on my plate of food. Most restaurants I’ve been to don’t even serve them! I am sure we’ll be back again! Good service and good food!

I feel BAD giving this place 1 star, but I just have to. First off I read the reviews here on Unilocal and let me tell you I was extremely excited to give this place a shot. So I go in, my friend and I order our food to go. One thing I noticed was how the lady who was taking our order had the«why am I even working» face. We take a seat, 10 minutes later the waitress brings my friends order to our table. While we were waiting on my order my friend got hungry and decided to eat his lunch. My friend FINISHED his lunch and my food wasn’t ready, so I decided to get up and ask where my food was. The waitress looked at me and asked me if I ordered something? At that point I was extremely upset since she forgot about my order. She was looking for my order on her notes until she finally found it. They made my food and didn’t even even apologize, overall I just had a horrible experience here.
