Mary’s Kountry Kitchen is a Hidden Gem! The Décor is your Aunts House. The Dress is Casual. The Food is Fresh & Cooked Perfectly! This place is what America has lost over the years. A true«Mom & Pop» Family Owned restaurant that«DOESNOTSKIMPONQUALITY, ORFRESHNESS»! I can blindfold you, take you to dozens of diners in the area, and you couldn’t tell the difference between the bland, old food you got. Mary’s will«NOT» serve you day old bread, and Muffins suffocating in plastic wrap. The won’t serve home fried potatoes made from last nights left over baked potatoes. Mary’s serves the«FRESHESTFOOD!», Service is «EXCELLENT!». You will NEVER have to beg to have your coffee refilled. Service is ALWAYS, FAST, FRIENDLY, and with a Smile! Fresh Cream is at your table, as well as REALBUTTER, And Jam. SUGGESTIONS: If you’re hungry, The Kountry Breakfast is sure to fill you up. Pancake, Eggs, REAL(FRESH) Homefries, Bacon, and LARGESAUSAGELINKS, as well as your choice of toast. If Available, get the home made Quiche! Not you’re typical quiche, but light and fluffy eggs, with veggies. This Quiche goes fast! ** The Breakfast Star, in my opinion, is the«EGGSCHESAPEAKE». Huge Scoops of «Blue Crab», on Toasted English Muffins topped with Eggs, and covered in a Tasty Hollandaise sauce. With their FRESH home fried potatoes. *** This is one of the Few Northern Restaurants that Serve Corn Cakes with Syrup. My Favorite. Try one of their daily specials. They have a small bar here, and their«Bloody Mary’s & Mimosas» are very popular for breakfast. Dress is casual. You WILL enjoy Mary’s Kountry Kitchen. Tell Them Chef Gary sent you! ENJOY!

I ate breakfast here on May 11. Over the years I had heard great things about Mary’s as a fantastic place to eat breakfast and finally tried it. This is an old-time diner and most of the customers seemed to be regulars as the waitresses knew their names when they came in. And this was actually one of the reasons I only give Mary’s 3 stars… as a non-regular, I was literally ignored for over 5 minutes even though others who came in after me were served coffee and given a menu. The food was fine, although the omelet was a little runny. Coffee was fresh and flavorful. Prices are very reasonable. I’ll probably try Mary’s again.

This place has a «family & friends employed» feel. My boyfriend and I always come here for breakfast when we can. Every time we come, it’s pretty busy and packed but we’ve never had to wait in line out the door or anything. Food is great, has all your usual diner dishes. Every so often they have an additional seasonal menu of special omelettes or benedicts or waffles, etc. Definitely worth the 5 stars: the PRICES for the food/service/vibe/atmosphere can’t be beat!

I always thought this place was rather odd, being in the middle of Route 4 and spelling the word«country» with a «K». I only recently had the opportunity to try it and I must say I’m impressed. Prices at Mary’s are lower than most diners, yet they don’t skimp on the portion size, as I discovered when I ordered the Kountry Breakfast! Service was pretty good too, although I really didn’t ask for much from them. We had a large group and the kitchen and waitstaff kept up the pace pretty well. The only problem I can see is parking can be difficult when the restaurant is full.

I give this restaurant the highest rating because I feel that it deserves all the praise it can receive. I’ve now been a patron on at least five occasions, and I suspect that in the future, I will return. The parking lot is large and accessible either heading East or West on Route 4. The dining area is large and well-furnished. Coffee is hot and quick at hand. The menu is extensive and the food is priced affordably. I recommend the Country Breakfast for those with a big appetite. Omelettes also run on the large side and are delicious as well. I wasn’t always a fan of scrapple but wherever theirs comes from, it’s tasty too. The service is impeccable and overall Mary’s delivers entirely on the promise of what Southern-tinged Mid-Atlantic home cooking has to offer. Stop by to cure a hangover, entertain family, start your day or just to see what the specials are.

Tried this place twice for breakfast. Very disappointing. Looks dingy and the food does not taste good at all.

Staff was friendly! I had the egg nog French toast with link sausage. I had to order eggs separate on the side since the breakfast didn’t include it. I guess they just don’t sell eggs separately since my eggs on the side turned out to be an additional meal with eggs, home fries, and toast. They definitely have big servings. Overall, the food was good, but nothing to write home about. The place was a small family owned restaurant.

First of all, the staff we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. And the food? DELICIOUS!!! I had the double burger and my only«issue» was it was HUGE! Yet the strange part of it all, is it would order it again!!! The price was topping on the cake! Very affordable! Almost cheaper than going to one of the fast food places!

Popular place. Large servings. Avoid the omelets, but the other breakfast entrees look good. Lots of flies in the dining room.

I’ve been numerous times, my most recent visit will be my last. My party of two sat for 15 minutes without a server stopping by the table for so much as a drink order(staff is generally very friendly otherwise). The food is mostly previously frozen and under seasoned but very inexpensive. Reports from the department of health will prevent me from ever returning as Mary’s has a stunning number of violations(viewable on the DDOH website). If it weren’t for the code violations I’d probably have given three stars.

Excellent service, food, and price! If you want easy-going atmosphere like you had when you were a child back in the day at grandma’s house then this is the place to be!

This food was pretty tasty. I looked it up on Unilocal before deciding to try it and the place was pretty crowded which was a good sign. My husband and I had breakfast and it was a nice breakfast meal. I would stop by if in town again. Does seem like a country spot.

Mary’s is a cute little breakfast place. It serves good ‘kountry’ cooking. My mother and I went for breakfast. I ordered the bananna nut waffle and bacon. The waffle was a rather large but topped with fresh banannas and walnuts. My bacon came with 4 – 5 slices and was cook to perfection. I had regular coffee and it was ok but nothing special. It was a good breakfast for a decent price :)

This place has been in my bookmarks for awhile. After a movie, down the street at Movies 10, I decided to check this place out for lunch. It’s much larger inside than it looks on the outside. I went there at an off hour, there were only 2 other people there. There lunch menu had mostly sandwiches so I ordered a turkey club. The waitress was attentive and polite. The food was decent and the prices are low. I want to come back for their breakfast and then maybe I’ll change their rating to 4.

Good, solid family style eating. Definitely not fancy, but service is good and the price is right. They do a good breakfast and have a really cheap dinner for two special.

Nice and charming place that almost makes you feel like you’re sitting down to a meal at your Grandmother’s house. Pay the extra .25 and upgrade you toast to their yummy biscuits.
