Los Angeles Harbor College Swap Meet

I love going to the Los Angeles Harbor College Swamp Meet on Sundays from 8:00 am –3:00 pm. Great bargains, safe environment and great prices too. It’s an excellent way to go for a walk and get some fresh air while meeting wonderful people. No parking fees and no Entrance Fees.

This is a Sunday only swapmeet located the parking lot of LA Harbor College. The hot dog cart is really good, family run and friend. Lots of stands where you can buy candy and other snacks, unlike some swap meets. Good variety of items, everything from tools to makeup to plants, kids toys, books, clothes (new and used), handbags, socks. There is a guy who makes keys. There a a few realtors and a directv stand, also a man who does custom cakes for parties and a leather smith. There are also a few stands who sell pet supplies. Not the most organized place, but it is a SWAPMEET being held in a college parking lot, what can you expect. Overall it’s become a tradition, when possible, to spend Sunday morning walking around the swapmeet and picking up a hot dog.

Lots of good finds… Take an umbrella if it’s sunny. I went today and had no shade so I pretty much skimmed the whole swap meet. It’s a good size with lots of different vendors. Everything from makeup to plants, food, tools, toys, and so much more! I got some new fashion sandals and makeup. Will definitely be going back!

Great swap meet. I’ve been a vendor for a year and half now. I sell cell phone accessories. You get 2 parking spaces to sell for $ 45. Well organized. Be signed in at the office by 7:30am to pick up your number. Raffle starts at 8am. Everyone has an equal chance to be called. As soon as your number is called, pick and choose whatever space is available. After that, enter the office and show your drivers license to the staff. At last, pay your fee and pick up your parking pass. I wish this swap meet is available sat and sun.

Ridiculous!
Took my phone for a simple screen replacement to the phone repair booth that they have at the swapmeet. what a nightmare. picked it up one week later all the way at his home in East LA. Terrible replacement job. Air bubbles and moving screen. Phone then didn’t turn on soon as I got in my car.
Took it back next sunday (week 2 now). Again, the guy took the phone for a whole nother week. Now the screen looked great and phone turned on… BUT now the camera wouldn’t work.
Took it back (week 3 now). Again, the guy took the phone for a whole nother week. When I went to pick it up he said he couldn’t fix the camera initilization problem. The area for my camera was now completely shattered and broken. He recommended doing a factory reset. I was livid but took my phone home to try a reset.
By the time I picked up my phone this last time, we were already on week 4 (an ENTIRE frikn month!). NOTHING helped my camera.
I rarely make phone calls. Mostly text. So two days later I make a phone call and now I can’t hear ANYTHING that the other line is saying. To complete a phone call I have to do it in speaker mode. Then this morning I wake up to a phone call and now my screen doesn’t even turn on.
My phone worked perfectly fine before I took it to this guy. He has his young son working on phones, so I have a feeling he is the one that went in on my droid. This man was unable to fix anything besides the broken screen but left everything else worse than with my screen broken. Guy is only agreeing to give me back the initial $ 50 I paid for the screen. What am I going to do with $ 50 now??? Now I need to buy a new phone!

Local Swap meet. We enjoy supporting our local vendors at the Harbor College Swap Meet!!! We got our name out in the community by visiting this well organized group of locals. Friendly space full of great deals. Your bound to find a few things at a great price that you just can’t pass up:)

I haven’t been here for years! I went here today and came up on some nice nail polish, costume rings, silly string, hair bun maker, and vitamins. All for just a dollar each!
