I haven’t been here since the 70’s, but we learned how to play pool and drink beer here in the 60’s. Any other old timers out there that can tell me why this place was never called Flores, but instead was called Shortys?

They do have a legitimate regulation size snooker table… but they don’t have snooker balls! It seems they don’t even know what snooker is. The rating above is just because of this fact. I could not say anything about their pool.

I grew up(or some would argue I simply got OLDER) in this DIVE of a pool hall. My older brother took me in this place when he was baby-sitting at the tender age of seven. Like Wilmington itself, this place is not for the faint-of-heart, but if you yearn for great old fashion pool ables with true taut felt, this is your place! Oh, and by the way, they have a legitimate regulation size snooker table. I know that few will venture to this mecca, but in looking for any listing on Unilocal with a Wilmington address, I found none. This corrects that.
