Arrived late in Wilmington and needed to find a place opened late. This place was a short walk from my hotel. I got there about 5 minutes before closing and expected the staff to be reluctant to fill a late order. I was wrong, the staff took my order with no qualms. Cooked me a delicious double cheeseburger dressed out with grilled mushrooms. They even dropped a new basket of fries. I only ordered a medium fry order, the server put that serving on the bag and then dumped another scoop into the bag and gave me a wink. I love that level of service. Took the food back to the hotel and had a delicious meal. I know this is a small chain restaurant, but it is really good food and service.

High quality meat is used to make the burgers and the seasoning is just right. You can add loads of different toppings on your burger and the fries are thick cut and delicious with vinegar. Grab a hand full of the tastey complimentary salted peanuts while you’re waiting for your food. I love this place.

We love the burgers and fries here! Only issue I have and I have let the manager know and since my burgers have been much much better. The issue was they were using a meat press or weight to make the burger cook faster and it was just drying out the taste of the burger so bad you couldn’t choke it down.
I think you just have to ask them not to use the weight.

I was excited to finally go here after all the great things I hear from everyone. First things first a little burger is a single and a regular is a double so don’t order a regular because you will get a double. The grilled mushrooms and grilled onions are great on a burger. Burger was juicy but I don’t know the food wasn’t as hype as I thought it would be. Fries you can’t stop eating that’s for sure. One thing that I loved is they fill your cup of fries and still has some fries at the bottom of the bag. So if your a huge fry lover you would be in heaven here. Also found a bug in our cup which was nasty but I let it slide. Probably might give this place another try but not sure. Oh! Expect to pay a lot of money on your food.

Great burgers and lots of fries fixed the way you request. Love the drink machine where I can get diet orange to my hearts content. Don’t usually have much time for the peanuts but they are a nice filler. Juicey is the key word for the burgers and you can get one without the bun if you’re cutting back. The smaller burger is usually enough for my wife and me.

They are always good. They consistently make the burgers and fries how you would expect them at a 5 guys, greasy and delicious. This is my favorite guilty pleasure in Wilmington.
I really enjoy the fries Cajun-​style and mixing my own concoctions at the Coke machines.

I don’t understand all the hype about this place. The service was great. The food was not. The burgers were not juicy at all, they were over done and dried out. The fries were ok, they were warm, not hot and tasted a little old, not fresh. Nice clean place with free peanuts, but average food.

Unfortunately I really like this place LOL. The full-​size burgers are HUGE, juicy, and delicious. The fries are awesome. This is not a healthy meal AT ALL, but is really tasty. I am usually not a burger person, but if I want one, I am going here. If you’re craving a burger, and are very hungry, GO HERE.

Okay, greasy fries and burgers aren’t for everybody or anybody on a daily basis (I hope), but when you do indulge in food like this, nobody does it better. Don’t P-​foot around here, get a burger and enjoy it for what it is… Pure ol’ fashioned griddle cooked, diner style awesomeness.

The burgers here are delicious. Many toppings you can add to your meal. Also the fries are great and I love the extra fries you get. A little on the expensive side for burger and fries but the size of burger and amount of food you get is well worth the price. Plus all the peanuts you can eat.

Great burgers and my favorite fresh cut fries with Malt Vinegar. My only pet-​pieve is when you get your order, they fill the paper bag with fries all over the burger. I spent a good 5 minutes sorting through them before I eat.

Five Guys is a beacon when i’m feeling like an especially over-​indulgent meal. Its unhealthy, i mean its burgers and fries, of course its bad for you, yet i CANNOT resist this place. The french fries are among the best I’ve had anywhere, and the burgers are perfectly juicy, not greasy, and delicious. I wish i didn’t love this place so much, I would probably be a few pounds lighter. I’d tried five guys elsewhere, and when i moved to Wilmington, looked into buying a franchise myself if it wasn’t here… but it was already here… hallelujah!

Burgers or Burgers — and to think that is a choice! When I brought burgers back to the office for everyone, Wow! every person was pleased! Everyone! I was impressed! all toppings are included (even grilled onions and mushrooms) I like the cajun fries and the giant box of peanuts to snack from while you wait. These guys mean burgers. Only go here if you want a burger. And you to will be hooked and returning again and again

I too have been spoiled with In-​n-​Out Burgers and 5 Guys Burgers is right there with them! The burgers melt in your mouth and the fries are some of the best I have ever had. If you get a chance, stop by here and you won’t regret it!
