Just ordered another cake for a double birthday celebration. Not one piece left, it was delicious! Thanks again for a great cake!

My wife and I used cakes by Kim for our wedding. The cake turned out beautiful and everyone was raving about how delicious it was including those who are cake snobs! She was kind enough to give us a separate sheet cake and gift certificate for a mini cake for our one year anniversary! She did not really need a recommendation from us to our friends and family because they were asking us who made the cake… LOL!

Horrible customer service pretty much sums it up. Placed an order for a cake to pick up on a certain day/time. Once we arrived, they didn’t know what we were talking about because no such order was placed. This was very concerning because numerous phone conversations re: order confirmation, design and wording were had throughout the week. Only after vehemently saying we never placed an order did they hastily fulfill the order requiring the evening’s plans to be significantly altered. The manager, Cathy, should take heed to customer retention and customer relation tactics. Her nonchalant approach and lack of urgency in addressing the debacle we had to endure and the bakery’s obvious oversight was ridiculous and down right insulting. As a result, we will NOT be returning to CBK as our expectations were not met — in the least.

I ordered cupcakes for my sister’s bridal shower through cakes by Kim. When our order was delivered to the restaraunt, I noticed that we did not receive our full order. I had ordered about 110 pieces and only got 85 or so. Also, the mini cupcakes were very sloppy looking and did not have any decorations on them like I had ordered. I would not reccommend cakes by kim for an event like a shower or a wedding!

A BIG thank you to «Cakes By Kim» and all the bakers for the wonderful job they did with our wedding cakes! We were not rushed through the process of picking of a cake, but rather were provided with about 10 different samples to taste so we could pick the perfect flavors for us. Everyone loved the cake; it was moist and downright delicious. Not only did we get a traditional cake but we wanted a special zombie brain cake. We gave them pictures of the designs we wanted. I also did not want real flowers on my cake, but roses made out of icing, and they made both cakes to perfection! The cakes appearance perfect, and the cake itself was outstanding! We were able to make each layer of the cake a different flavor, they made exactly what we wanted, and Kim herself has a great personality. It was worth every cent! We could not have asked for better service. Kim will be making our cakes for many years to come! Nick & Carol

I contacted cakes by Kim to make a unique sushi themed cake for my sister’s birthday. They responded to my request within 24 hours. All the cake design details and pre-deposit were completed quickly on the phone. The cake turned out amazing with an undeniable«wow» factor and I received numerous compliments. It not only looked great, but was delicious! The cake was ready on time as promised.

My cousin and her husband got their wedding cake from here. It was a cute square two tier cake that had these lines pressed in it with little dots of icing wherever two lines met.(think diamond pattern). Apparently the store either offered them a 3 tier cake(in which they save the top for their 1st anniversary) or a 2 tier cake with a voucher to come back on their 1st anniversary and get a cute fresh baked tiny cake. They took the 2nd option. They used some roses from my cousin’s florist to decorate the cake with white pedals. Pretty. I believe the flavor I tried was a Jamaican rum flavor but to be honest I was too drunk to remember the taste.

While the ordering process was a bit harried, the cake came out A-okay, though not quite as moist or fresh tasting as I had hoped. We ordered a red velvet for a 40th birthday gathering. The bakery guy who took my call seemed very preoccupied and had to keep asking me the same questions over and over, which was a little worrisome; you always want to make sure your order is going to be taken correctly. However, they were reasonable priced, a round 8″ double layered red velvet cake which fed about 10 people was $ 25. The filling was apricot, tasty and what they recommended, but still a little odd for red velvet and a very thin layer. NOTE: when they ask you what color flowers you’d like on your cake, they mean REAL flowers. I thought they would add edible sugar flowers and told them red and white to match the icing and the lettering. What we got was two red carnations and some little white daisies with a little bow on the cake. yeah, a little odd but hey, they cake ate fine and everyone enjoyed having birthday cake after our Asian food.
