I purchased a Groupon in December for a haircut, partial highlights and deep conditioning treatment. The salon is located close to the Linden El, and there was ample street parking. The salon is small, but clean and well staffed. I was immediately greeted, and taken care of. Vince (the owner) sat down with me, and we did our consult-​he was very attentive, no rush, and made me feel comfortable and confident about his ability. I had a single process color blonde with about an inch of natural light brown coming in, and he blended the color in beautifully-​very natural, but with enough contrast to display the highlights. I also took off about 2 ¹⁄₁₂ inches, and explained what I wanted (along with some pics). He was able to replicate the look, and gave me exactly what I wanted. I really appreciate a stylist who listens, and successfully interprets your vision (versus giving you a cut based on their vision and skill) and makes it happen-​Vince did this! He also wrote down the highlighting instructions, so I could take it back to a stylist in NC for touch ups-​definitely above and beyond what I expected. The true test comes a few days after you have the cut and highlights done. If I can’t replicate the style I received from the stylist at home with minimal effort, or by doing exactly what they did in the salon, then I definitely feel that it’s not a successful cut and style. No problems, minimal effort-​it looks just as good as it did the day I had it done, after washing and styling it myself. I have been to other upscale salons in Chicago-​Mario Tricoci, Art & Science, Robert Jeffries-​and this cut and highlight service is the best cut and highlights I have received thus far. Vince really knows what he’s doing, and (by far) has the best chairside manner I’ve encountered here. I highly recommend this salon, and Vince! I’ll definitely come back on my next trip to Chicago!

takes about 45 minutes to finish my buzz cut??? PRICE i had to pay was another shock. that was my first and last time to visit that unprofessional and depressing place. everywhere around is cheaper and better quality, STAY AWAY.

There is no salon that could ever compare to Vincent Anthony! Vince, the owner and head stylist is extremely talented, kind and professional. He literally created my dream hair color. I wanted something specific and showed him a picture-​he replicated it to a t.
James, who works the front desk, is also extremely curteous, friendly and just an all around great person to deal with.
Their manicurist is so sweet and the entire area was spotless. I received a pedicure and manicure and it was so relaxing.
Everyone at this salon was timely and professional and I am glad that my co-​worker referred me.
I will go back to Vince as soon as I am due for my touch up and will continue to refer people to him. I will also go back there for a manicure and pedicure.

If you want highlights you must make an appointment with Sydney. She is a genius. She does balayage which makes your hair look beautiful and natural. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve had pink hair, bleach blonde hair, black hair, you name it… but now that I’m in law school at Northwestern I need something very professional. My hair was even half red from the Halloween previous and Sydney managed to make all of my hair one even palette, with highlights that I would have paid triple the price for at my old place.
The great thing about Sydney is how she listened to what I wanted, and delivered results that were not only exactly what I requested, but were even better than I expected! And she was meticulous about it, making sure that every strand was the right color. Everyone has complimented me on the new look. It really is just gorgeous.
