My son and I made a special trip to have frozen yogurt here today. The hours on the door stated that they open at noon, but at 12:15 the store was still closed. Finally, at 12:25 we saw someone inside. We knocked on the door only to have her shoo us away, stating«we are not open yet.» She wouldn’t even let us wait inside while she took her time opening. Sadly, this isn’t the first time they were not open on time and u now have a very disappointed 3 year old.

Great frozen yogurt, worth a visit even on a cold winter day. The yogurt has an excellent texture and consistency. Not a great range of flavors. Excellent selection of toppings. They need to add other types of food or a at least a blender to really fill up the store.

Very good price for frozen yogurt. You can come in and the establishment is colorful and youthful. Very clean and nice service. I live around the corner and I go to this place quite often and I am always eager to try new combinations. You can make your own bowl with any combination of toppings you want. The cashier weights the bowl and then you pay based on how much you put in. Be careful… heavy toppings like Reese’s peanut buttercup can increase the price of your frozen yogurt.

I have been several times and it is super clean, the flavor/toppings selection is large and the staff is always courteous. My only complaint is that I wish they had cones :-)

Definitely a fan. I first went to Cocomero while in college in Champaign. I love the flavor options and the toppings are delicious. There are about a dozen flavors i think, maybe a bit more, and plenty of topping options — fruits, candies, cake bites, brownie bites, etc. I generally get ½ cookies n crème and ½ cake batter frozen yogurt and then top it partly with cookie dough bites and partly with cheesecake bites. It’s all incredibly tasty, really good. And I’ve always had good experiences with the quality — good consistency, good flavor, smooth froyo flow. There’s one and only one drawback, it gets really expensive really quickly so you gotta be super careful about how much you add. It’s great for a change of pace, but I’ll probably go back to DQ where I get something similar once DQ opens in the spring since DQ is cheaper.

First thing I noticed is they don’t have sample cups, so you’re going in blind. I really appreciate the cups at other places because frozen yogurt flavors can be iffy. I didn’t order a yogurt for this reason; instead, i bought a cup for my son. I tried, literally, less than half a spoon of his peach frozen yogurt. Within 3 minutes, I experienced the familiar burning pain and drowsiness I now know is an MSG allergy. I’m so disappointed with this place. I’ve had frozen yogurt all around the area and have never had this problem. It’s said that it’s a common ingredient in frozen yogurt and low fat foods, but with 30% of the population afflicted, you’d think people would know not to use MSG. It goes by other names: hydrolyzed vegetable protein, hydrolyzed protein, hydrolyzed plant protein, plant protein extract, sodium caseinate, calcium caseinate, yeast extract, textured protein, autolyzed yeast, hydrolyzed oat flour, malt extract, malt flavoring, bouillon, soy protein concentrate, soy protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, carageenan. Now, with palpitations, nausea and a burning, stiff neck, I had to haul myself and my son home. Thanks.

So disappointed with this place. Just took my kids there the other day in the middle of the day and the teen girl working there had totally inappropriate music for children blaring. My children learned more foul words in 10 minutes at coco mero than they have in their entire lives. I asked her if she could please change the music and she merely turned it down. We left and won’t be coming back. I am really upset that we tried to have a nice treat for my kids and instead they ended up learning the«f» word«s» word, «b» word and some seriously degrading expressions about women. Never experienced anything like this anywhere.

Even on a cold October day, this place looked inviting enough to stop in. A modern and colorful new entry to downtown Wilmette, which is a welcome change! The girl behind the counter was friendly. The yogurt was yummy. Lots of toppings from tempting candies to healthy fruits. I felt hip just sitting in this cool place! I’ll definitely be back, especially as the weather gets warmer. I do like ice cream, but it’s nice to have a healthy alternative that’s tasty too.

I’m not trying to sound rude or anything but i don’t think the Unilocaler below understands the concept of 49 cents an ounce, you pay for what you put in your cup! And why didn’t she just ask for a sample cup… those are free you know. Not to mention, most froyo places charges 49 cents an ounce. I don’t think cocomero is the best but it’s still pretty good and i love how clean they keep their topping bar. whenever I go into other froyo places, the topping bar area looks like a tornado blew through it.

I came across this place by accident and thought I would try. I mean who doesn’t like frozen yogurt? The girl at the counter was incredibly inviting and helpful. It was clean, which is a plus and the choices I had were delicious. The condiment bar has a wide variety. I mentioned the place to my boyfriend and since then have been back twice. He thought the flavors were good and service was good as well, both times I have been there. Even while sitting and enjoying the great flavors, the girls working at the time did a great job explaining to customers how the process works and forewarning people that the cost is based on weight. The first time I ever had frozen yogurt, no one ever said that to me, so I appreciated her saying that to other customers. Great Job Cocomero. I would recommend this place to anyone. Definitely coming back.

Amongst the plethora of frozen yogurt places finally opening in the burbs… I would not recommend this one. Of the three samples I tried, all three machines were not at the right temp and the yogurt came out melty. The toppings are fine, but at .49 an ounce, this is not worth it for me. My little sample I bought for my husband to try came out to 2.97, and the container wasn’t even a third full. When I went to the register to pay, I got a scripted and fast thank you for coming, see you soon… aaaand walk away from the person at the register, so I am not sure about the service. Also, compared to other frozen yogurts of this sort, it was far and away too sweet. Ouch on my taste buds, wallet and time.
