Decent service, but radically over-priced and self important. I had a massage and it was very nice, but when I went to pay, I put my tip on my card and was handed cash to give to my masseuse myself forcing me to traipse all over the salon to find her to give her the money. When I asked the cashier to give it to her for me, she said, «We don’t do that.» I get uncomfortable when I’m basically forced to thank someone repeatedly. I haven’t gotten my hair done there, but the fact that you have both a colorist and a stylist requiring two separate tips means I never will. Plus their service is no better than a chain salon with much lower prices.

I recently MADEANAPPOINTMENT(I wrote that in all caps on purpose) for a pedicure at Raun. I have been there before and always had fine service. NOT this time. I arrived a bit early and checked in… then I waited. …and waited. …and waited. I was about 5 feet in front of the reception desk and not one of the girls ever acknowledged that I had been sitting there for over 20 minutes AFTER my SCHEDULEDAPPOINTMENT. I understand things can get backed up; what I don’t understand is not saying to a waiting customer«So-and-so will be with you soon, would you like some water?». After being ignored for 25 minutes I told the girl at reception I was leaving. All she did was ask if I wanted to reschedule. Why? So I can sit and be ignored again? No thanks. There are A LOT of salons out there… I’m sure I will find one that wants my business.

I had my first visit to Raun yesterday for a cut with Markus and color & highlights with Linda. Ive received many compliments on the new ‘do since then, they did a great job!
