Staples the Office Superstore

Awful. The people here are miserable. Ran out of toner for a doc I needed printed that night, so I called Staples at 8:30pm to see if I could print it off a thumb drive. The woman in the print center told me very rudely that she was utterly swamped and wouldn’t be able to print it until tomorrow. Swamped? On a Monday night at 8:30pm in Mansfield, Connecticut? What a load of crap. She clearly didn’t want to help anyone since the store was closing in 30 minutes. It was 5-​page document. Wouldn’t have taken 60 seconds to print. Anyway, won’t be going to them again any time soon. I like to support local business, but you can bet I’ll be ordering my office supplies at lower cost from Amazon from here on out. And if you ever need to print something out late at night (and the line at the Mansfield Staples is out the door since it’s clearly such a popular place to be on a Monday night), then I discovered that the public computers at Eastern are open until midnight, available to anyone and they charge way less for per page than Staples.

two addresses come up for this store on Unilocal.anyways, i dont know which one it is — store was clean and well stocked. staff was helpful in finding what i was looking for (sadly stainless steel sharpies were not in stock). strip mall it is in has a bright green ice cream shop, a pet store and a funky craft store. good place to get staples.
