I ordered a clock spring for a 2001 Jeep Cherokee over the phone. I realize the part they sent me is missing a tiny plastic clip. Without that, it’s useless. They say their parts are shipped as is which is understandable but I expect them to be in working condition. The part is commonly broken off when removing it from the original vehicle. On top of that, the 1st person I spoke with laughed and said I should have never been able to order a clock spring in the first place – clock springs have to be ordered new. Regardless of the truth in that, a company rep told me they should not have sold the part. So now this $ 48 part goes in the trash.
I tried to save a buck but going to pay twice that to ensure I buy from a reliable seller. DO NOT waste your time buying from this yard.
