My opinion: Shaved ice was great… Tons of flavors to choose from. Would not recommend the soft serve ice cream… It’s icy not creamy so just not my preference. Owner was there while we were and was very nice and chatty. My youngest didn’t like his soft serve so the staff switched it for a shaved ice(that he loved!!) If your visiting the Williamsburg outlets it’s worth stopping in.

TL;DR — 3.5 stars for a well made sno, but service is quite slow. Sno-To-Go has a fun concept, which kind of reminds me of the Gelati from Rita’s, but with an extra layer of sno and the sno is coloring versus water ice(or Italian ice). The layering goes custard-sno-custard-sno. This is actually a better idea because by the time you get to the second layer of ice cream, which is vanilla only, it has already started to merge with the sno all the way on the bottom and makes for a pretty great combination. You are allowed to get multiple flavors, and the spongebob and dreamsicle are money. The only issue we have is that the service is a little slow. There was a couple parties ahead of us but we waited almost 15 minutes for our order. They messed up one person’s order before us(but ordered after us) as well as ours as well. We weren’t in a rush, so that was okay, but there was a big line after us, so when that happens, just have a little patience.

Not opened in the rain… even though they left the«open» sign on and the hours on the large sign out front say until 11pm.(Online it says 9:30. Unilocal says 10) and it’s 8pm… not in the area often, but my husband wanted to get some since he loved it when he lived in the area. So disappointing.

So good! Soft serve was the best kind you can get… you know the custard-style that is so delicious! A small cup was huge and definitely enough to share. There were a ton(like a million) of shaved ice flavors… the stuffed sno-cone looked yummy. Coke was a can, not fountain, but no biggie. Friendly, fast and cheap prices! Closed on Sundays and even had a sign saying it is a day of rest with scripture reference. Will come again when back in Williamsburg for sure!

Great selection of Ice. The family absolutely loved it! This is a must stop when visiting Williamsburg.

I LOOOOVE Sno to Go. They are terrific. The ice in the sno cone is the right consistency. As the name implies, it is like snow. Soft and fluffy. Therefore, when they encircle the snow with flavor, it sinks immediately in to the bottom. The portion is generous. They pack the snow in, mush it down with the flavor, and then cap it off. I have heard that the ice cream they have is excellent as well. But I typically just order the snow cone. They will put in extra flavor if you request and they will also put two flavors on one snow cone. My only request would be that they return kiwi as a flavor choice(that was my fav).

Once upon a time, there was a magical and mystical place in a far, far away land called Baltimore, MD. Atop the great kingdom, lay a place. A place better than the rest. This wondrous place was called«The House» and there you could find snow cones as big as your face that had been injected with the fluffiest of marshmallow creams. It was a happy place, a lovely place and a little traveler named Emily learned to love it. Emily loved these snow cones so much that it was the highlight of her frequent Bar Mitzvah voyages up to the land of Baltimore. But sadly, this story had an unhappy ending … As the owners of «The House» had 99 problems –the major one being not paying their bills on time. Mo money, mo problems. One day, that little girl got the itch to spend money. Her whole paycheck, in fact, at the Michael Kors outlet. And while taking on the treacherous mid-afternoon traffic of Richmond Road in search of discounted, out-of-season purses, Emily saw a sign. You could call it a sign from the heavens. That sign said«Sno To Go». Emily’s heart melted. Could it be? Was it possible that she had stumbled upon exactly what she needed it fill the void in her heart? YEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! So, fellow sugar junkies, check this out: These are seriously serious snow cones. You can get them in many different ways; each all … More freaking perfect than the next. The shaved ice is spectacular. The flavors … AMAZEBALLS. And the service? Oh, the service. The young lass behind the counter could tell just how happy I was to be there, she let me sample EVERYTHING. And you know what makes this place«número uno» in my mind? The value. We stingy Jewfolk are always looking for good value and, trust me, you get it here. This place is amazing, it rocks, it’s worth a 90-minute drive just for the snow cone. YEAH, I SAIDIT. I’m driving back up there as we speak, just for the snow cone. ANDITWILLBESPECTACULAR.

I know I’m in the minority, especially for a local, but I would choose Rita’s any day. At Sno to Go, the favors doesn’t go all the way thru the ic, customer was basically non-existent and let’s face it getting in and out of their parking is challenging. We’ve tried the ices and then those with ice cream in them, I just don’t get the draw.

It’s just snow cones… right? But these snow cones are amazing. I had the blueberry stuffed snow cone and it was awesome. It’s kinda like Starbucks where you put in your order and wait for them to call you up to get it when it’s ready. Although most people were ordering the stuffed snow cones, I wish I had just ordered the regular one because the blueberry flavor was so good. I took off one star because all of the trashcans were overflowing and there were bees EVERYWHERE. One helpful hint: Get your snowcone and go back to your car, it’s a little uncomfortable to try to eat it in front of a ton of bees.

Got to try this change of pace(as I am a Rita’s aficionado) but they were really good and I love the variety of consistent flavors. Next time, I’m in town, I’m going to go more than once!

Best ever! There is going to be a wait. There is always just one or two kids running the place. So don’t come then get upset when it takes a little bit. Just relax its worth the wait. If your from out of town this is a must stop you wont be let down. And when your there chat up some of the locals they will be waiting in line with you.

Very good, loved the ice cream in my shaved ice. There are lots of flavors to choose from when ordering. The only issue I have is there is no place to sit and enjoy your desert.

The customer service I received yesterday was just too much(in a good way). I had ordered a small soft serve ice cream. I could see them through the window trying to get my ice cream on a cone, but she clearly wasn’t pleased with the way it was coming out. She tried three or four times until one of them eventually opened up the machine. A few minutes later, they apologized profusely for the wait, which I didn’t think was that long anyway. When they did get my ice cream, they also offered me some kind of credit for future use.(Though I had to turn it down, not being from the area.) Basically, the staff was super nice and went over the top with customer service. And I enjoyed my ice cream too. Thanks guys!

The ice and custard is awesome here. Definitely better than Rita’s. Great price, great service. I stumbled across this place by accident. Thankfully, I still had room for dessert after dinner. The ice and custard mix well together. Better than one would imagine. I love how the employees pour tons of syrup into the ice, to the point where you will not find any unflavored ice. The custard is the creamiest I’ve ever had.

This place is known for their ‘snoballs’, which you choose an ice flavor and then they either put ice cream in the middle or on the top(or both). The idea of mixing Italian ice with ice cream was interesting and somewhat off-putting, but the combination of flavors is amazing. This is somewhat close to the William & Mary campus, and it’s always packed in the evening with students getting some snoballs. They do offer a unique variety of flavored ice. I’ve had the cherry and it was just wonderful. +‘snoballs’ +cash only +closed on Sundays

Best ice any where, puts the other ones to shame as these are so full of favor and so many choices. They have a punch card for frequent customers that you should get if residing in the area. The 5 is based on previous visits as today I forgot they were closed on Sundays much to the disappointment of my children.

What’s not to like? Shave Ice? Check Ice cream? Check Reasonable prices? Check Friendly Employees? Check Check The stuffed snowball is the way to go! I ordered a small and it was still too much for me. Unfortunately,(or fortunately, according to my thighs) we don’t live nearby. But we will return when we visit Williamsburg again.
