Delicious beyond words. An actual restaurant in Williamsburg with food that isn’t simply made to draw the masses of tourist, but is made with freshness, quality and taste involved. Complimentary garlic knots were buttery and delicious. We ordered the three cheese ravioli and chicken parm; both were wonderful! Pasta is made fresh on the premises as are the desserts, including the cannoli that was To.Die.For! Highly recommend this little Williamsburg treasure.

Good, local restaurant. Service was good/attentive. The Peroni’s were frosty cold. The kids’ mazz cheese sticks were homemade and made with fresh mazz. The chicken in the chicken masala was pounded thin, tender and cooked perfectly. The three-cheese ravioli were also made fresh. Overall, good experience, food and service. If we were local, we’d go back b/c I need to try their veal parm. I love a good veal parm with a side of rigatoni.

This place was truly awesome! We stayed at the double tree nearby and came here for an early lunch before heading home. The food was authentic and the pasta tasted very fresh. The waitstaff was kind and attentive and the food was very reasonably priced. And everything was delicious! A true gem in our otherwise underwhelming trip.

This is my third time going and it’s still a wonderful dining experience. The prices are unbeatable for the portions and that quality and service are fantastic. The atmosphere is nice as well. My girlfriend and I ate outside this time because the weather was so nice. She had the pasta with clams, her favorite(third time getting it), and I had the Veal Marsala. It was delicious. Our waiter was Giuseppe and he was fantastic. If you go, ask for him and he’ll hold you down. Also, rather than serving regular bread, they serve garlic knots, which is the smartest decision in terms of types of bread to serve in my opinion.

Yum! Gnocchi with homemade sausage in wine sauce was awesome as was ravioli(just a simple red sauce but nicely done). Served with nice little salad and awesome garlic knots. Two giant meatballs perfect for our toddler… who, by the way was a bit crazy in the restaurant and the entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to her and us. Go here!

We were all hungry after a day of field hockey. The food and service was excellent. Not a single complaint from the appetizers to desserts. We all had something different and every dish was wonderful. We have bookmarked this restaurant for future visits to the area!

Probably the best garlic bread(garlic knots) I have ever had. I could not stop eating them… so they just kept bringing more. The Marinara sauce was so flavorful. They must have simmered it for hours. The hospitality we felt was amazing and the service throughout the meal was great. My wife and 2 daughters and I went in there for dinner because this restaurant came highly recommended by our hotel staff. My daughter and I are vegan, so they brought out special garlic knots(no Parmesan) for us. The combination of olive oil and garlic they use on their homemade bread is amazing. We both had the vegetarian pasta, I had it with a white wine garlic sauce that was great, and my daughter had marinara, which was amazing. My wife(not vegan) had the Chicken Parmesan which she raved about, and my other daughter(also not vegan) had Shrimp Alfredo which was perfectly prepared. They had some calamari for an appetizer which was lightly battered and perfectly cooked. We could tell that everything was made fresh and obviously made with great care. The chef came out to personally discuss ingredients and preparation with my daughter and me because we have a lot of concerns as vegans. It was great that he took the time to make sure we were comfortable with everything. It is pretty rare when my whole family can go into a restaurant and get something they want, have it be absolutely delicious, have great service, and reasonable prices to boot. The food was amazing, but the care that everyone in this place took with us was what made this a truly memorable experience.

Went here for family dinner due to proximity to our hotel. From seating to check-out, thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Excellent service, «homemade foods» and desserts. Garlic knots are addictive! Comfortable and inviting, we will definitely visit again.

My husband and I are visiting Williamsburg and we’re looking for some decent Italian food. I found Maurizios on the hotel guide. The service and food were awesome. I had the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and they were huge! I ordered the manicotti which came with a decent sized garden salad. The salad was fresh and a good size. The manicotti was delicious and the portion was very large. We were also served garlic knots that were amazing. My husband had chicken Parmesan and he said it was very good as well.

This place has the best Italian food I have ever had. Avoid the big chain restaurants like Maggianos or Olive Garden. This place is the real deal. Or the Papa Platter for 2! The garlic bread they give is awesome too!!!

First off this place is AMAZING they’re so friendly and helpful. My boyfriend had a salad and spaghetti and meatballs. The salad was so fresh and his meal was great. I had the ham and pineapple calzone, it was the BEST I have ever ate. They give you complimentary garlic knots and trust and believe it was great as well we had two baskets of them! Our waiter was very attentive and cared if we liked the food or not(you don’t get that alot). We just had to have dessert and they had made an Italian cake with oranges that day. SO good. We will definately be back. There isn’t very many places in Williamsburg that aren’t a chain that is actually good. Most are overpriced and not caring. I took pictures of my food and dessert how do I put it up here for yall to see?!

Found this place on the va williamsburg guide and received 10% off. Food was amazing. Cheesecake was rich tasting with the perfect texture. Papas combo had plenty of food for two with leftovers. I didn’t try the wine so I cannot give an opinion regarding it. Would be great for date night. Prices were averaging between 14 – 20 unless veal or typical more expensive meat is desired. I will be returning for sure.

Stopped here on the way home from Busch Gardens. I was really impressed with the traditional Italian fair and feel to the place, but for a much lower price point than similar restaurants. They brought us a basket of garlic knots for free and they were amazing! The servers were also all really attentive, they never let our drinks get empty and checked in several times. We ordered the bruchetta appetizer which was so fresh and delicious! The pizza for two was more than enough for dinner and leftovers, and it was very delicious.

This little unassuming place has surprisingly great food. Most dishes aren’t over sauced and over sized. You get just the right amount to get you full. I believe you can’t go wrong with any of their entrees. I ordered the calamari for the appetizer … It was light and not over cooked. Delish! Oh did I mentioned the complimentary garlic knots? OMG wickedly scrumptious. This place has a full bar and a good wine selection.

Came here for an early dinner the restaurant was pretty empty. The entrance was adorable. The ambiance was nice I definitely recommend for dinner or a date. Our server was attentive. We had a pizza as an appetizer excellent for the price and quality. We had two salads and the garlic knots were so tasty. I had the chicken parmigiana and my bf the shrimp pasta there was way too much garlic in the shrimp pasta and it only came with 4 shrimp he had to order an extra side of shrimp $ 1.00 per shrimp. That was over priced. Besides for that I saw two of the homemade desserts they looked delicious. I would come back for sure just would order something different on the menu. It was a little odd they were playing Christmas music. Rudolph the red nose reindeer. We actually got a kick out of it.

Staying at Great Wolf Lodge and decided to try this restaurant based on other Unilocal reviews. It did not disappoint! Food was delicious and service was excellent! Generous portions. Only ate half and had enough for lunch the next day. Highly recommend!

Wow umm I went with a party of 6 waited a few minutes prior to being seated but the entry is a little tight for a party of 6. Plus a family behind me picking up a to go order then a couple behind them all while families are leaving. The infamous garlic knots were eventually brought to our table. It seemed like awhile but maybe because I was soo excited to taste them with all the reviews on here. I am sorry to say they were ok I would not go out my way to order them on the way home to add to my pasta dinner. I shared a momma platter with my friend. I was disappointed that the cheese sauce was the same in the manicotti, as the ravioli and the lasagna. It may have tasted better if I had a separate meal versus all the same. I really like the chicken parm though that was definitely my favorite and I would come back and get a meal of just that. My tea was never refilled but water was topped off. I also didn’t like the 1 restroom. Even if there is another available on the other side of the wall. I stood outside the door waiting with two children until it was available. There were so many people there; I can’t even imagine the line that accumulates outside the door. I did skip the dessert and I am a dessert person so hopefully I get to taste that on a better visit next time.
