The person who named this«office» Hi Tech dental was either a really bad liar or started the business in dinosaur times. I came here with a Groupon for X-Rays and a cleaning for $ 29 bucks, so I decided to try it out. WORSTDECISIONEVER. The office is in a large, crappy, confusing building. This is not a shiny, nice Williamsburg dentist. This was more of a low income community health center. I was a little surprised that there was a Groupon for a place that looked like it has free needle exchange, but I sucked it up and walked to the third floor,(that makes me sound so snobby but I don’t know how else to describe it). There was a hoard, I mean a HOARD of seniors sitting in the waiting room and some kind of optometry set up INTHEHALLWAY, making it almost impossible to walk to the dental area. I am not sure if they were offering free exams or something, but the room was so loud and chaotic. I checked in with the receptionist five minutes before my appointment. Twenty minutes later I peeked in again and asked if I would be in soon and was told yes. Ten more minutes and I was told«soon». Another twenty-five passed and I told them I really had to leave and whether I could reschedule since over45 minutes late is kind of nuts. She was going to let me reschedule, but only if I lost my Groupon and paid full price. I was getting so pissed and I never ever get snappy at receptionists but she was making me livid. She finally got me in the chair, but it was obviously just to shut me up since I waited another ten minutes there. OKSOTHECLEANING! FINALLY! Everything was grungy and old. The mouthwash was some generic brand from the dollar store — I know because it still had the orange $ 1.19 sticker on it. The counter was cluttered, the chair wasn’t clean. The dentist/hygienist/whatever got water all over my face and neck and chest. I know there is some spray during a cleaning, but never have I had so much water pouring out that it goes down my shirt. With the amount this place SUCKS, you would think at least the water sucking thingy would work but no.
