If you’ve been to Denny’s or IHOP or Village Inn, then you’ve been to Perkins. Big glossy menu with a bunch of different breakfasts, salads, burgers and other cooked meals. I think breakfast is the best way to go here, especially since I arrived at 7:30 on a weekday morning. My eye caught the«everything» omelet and so that’s what I had. It didn’t take long to be prepared, even though the place was a little busy. A decent sized folded omelet with plenty of mushrooms, onions, peppers and cheese. Plus bacon and ham. A good portion, especially with their potatoes. They also do hash browns. The rye toast was two very large slices of bread. Believe me, I left here stuffed and wasn’t hungry until well past the usual lunch hours. Perkins is located right off the Interstate and you’ll have no trouble finding it and then getting back on your way.

Great diner experience. Employees are courteous and a great selection of dishes and prices. Its rare to see their parking lot empty

It is conveniently located for those staying at the Econo Lodge, as it is right in front of it; nice when the weather isn’t great. I ate there for 3 dinners, all were from the fit menu, and while the pancakes were delicious, the Tilapia entre was a bit greasy, and the rice was ok. They were great about subbing the eggs and sausages for fresh fruit, and the seating was fine. The seating was ok, with lots of booths, but don’t sit at the tables, as they are in the middle of the booths, and get all the conversation noises which limits conversation at the table.

A typical and adequate Perkins. Stopped in for breakfast and went with the omelet which is a traditional favorite of mine. Chose the hash browns and pancakes on the side. It was a solid breakfast and is 570 price friendly. My only complaint was the coffee needs to come up a notch. It had a distinct paper/filter taste to it. Otherwise this restaurant has kept up with the times and outlived the local chain of Mark II restaurants(one location directly across the street closed and was re-opened as a Dunkin Donuts, which actually may provide tougher competition to Perkins).

Ugh. Let me just say that I do not have some unreasonable expectations about what these types of places are. They offer decent food at a decent price with decent service. Now, I know the word decent is subjective. Let me just say that I did not get to the food and price aspect because the service was an epic fail. Sat down, got greeted by the waitress, and then she went into witness protection. As there are other more desirable options down the I-81, we got up and hit the road. YMMV here.

Went here with my family twice and each time I was disappointed. The food was incredibly over priced and did not leave the best taste in your mouth. Each time we saw our waitress once after our meals and the second time we went there, One of the waitresses acted like a bitch for no reason after we told her that the ketchup bottle we were using ran out of ketchup and that they should refill it for the next customer. Then after paying for our over priced meal, We bought some of their over priced cookies that once again did not leave the best taste in your mouth. I’ve bought generic store brand cookies that tasted far better and were far cheaper as well. So overall, I would not recommend this place at all. The food sucks, It’s over priced, and the staff are not the friendliest of people either.

It’s a Perkins. I used to go here a lot as a teen during the late-night hours. Food is cheap, diner-fare. Nothing spectacular, but not a bad bite if you’re looking for some breakfast or late night munches.

If you like Bob Evans or Denny’s you will like this. This particular location clearly beats out the Bob Evans and Denny’s locations in Fairfax, Virginia. Very quick service and very friendly. Server made an error in our food order but quickly fixed it and comped that particular part of it. The manager came by and talked to us a bit. Very good food and fast service.
