This review is strictly for the customer service given by the secretaries and receptionists in the derm. department, specifically the people working with Dr. Long.
Absolute HORRIBLE customer service. I’ve had to call on three separate occasions to get a prescription filled for a pharmacy in New York City and each time I’ve gone to my pharmacy to pick-​up the medicine, it was never called in.
Getting the receptionist/​secretary on the phone at Dr. Long’s is a complete joke. You call and call and call and call and either get an automated voice message or by a stroke of luck get some snide, nasty lady who can’t talk in complete sentences barking at you simply because you, as a patient, are a little concerned why it’s taking 3 separate phone calls to *maybe* have a successful transaction where your medicine is called in to the pharmacy.
Most of my interactions with the admin. office here have been absolutely horrid. Terrible communication, curt responses, Jerry Springer’ish attitudes…
Go elsewhere. Even if the Dr. is good (which he is) it’s not worth all the bs from his terrible staff.
