What a fantastic place to dine, myself and a couple of friends eat there on a weekly basis. The staff from the manager Kevin, to the servers are top notch. There is no better place in Wildwood to gather and have a great dining experience than the Sunny Street Café. Jim Follen

Really great place for breakfast! Tried it for the first time today. Got seated quickly, waitress brought drinks fast and took our order, food came out fast and was delicious! Great menu items like chorizo breakfast tacos, breakfast quesadillas and stuffed biscuits and gravy. The manager walked around to check on everyone and chatted with us for a while. He’s been the manager for a month now and seems to have things running smoothly! We will go back!

Good place to have breakfast around town. Not too many choices though. It’s usually tooooo crowded on sat & sundays to even go though. I’m not a patient person though lol :)

For the person complaining on 6÷7÷2015 the one hostess who was doing the work was training the other 3 hostess which is why they were standing around because they did not know what to do. The kitchen has been having problems but they are working to fix it. Sunny Street has been without a general manager since February and are still looking to hire. This is why the«management» has been off because there has not been a solid manager for awhile.

It was fairly busy with a lot of issues. The positives: We were seated immediately. Our waitress was nice. Coffee refills. The negatives: 4 hostesses just standing around with one doing all of the work. Waited over 20 minutes for food. My eggs Benedict were basically hard boiled eggs, but my husband’s were runny… Lack of consistency. Underdone hash browns. We had the privilege of watching the food come out and sit and get cold. It really appears to be a management issue.

Very pathetic management. We just moved to the area and were excited to find a local place for breakfast. We walked in on a Sunday morning to no lines and were told our wait would be about ten minutes. They start to get busier and after about fifteen minutes, we’re wondering why tables are being cleared but no one is being seated. A hostess or manager comes out and tells the larger party in front of us that she can seat them, but they won’t be able to order for at least fifteen minutes and it’ll probably be 45 minutes until any food comes our as they’re short staffed. WTH. My husband has an appointment and we’re still in the process of moving. We chose to leave as did about twenty other people judging from the exodus in the parking lot. No time to go anywhere else now… thank goodness for Panera nearby. We won’t soon be back.

Breakfast here. Prompt, friendly service. Clean, cheerful quarters. Well rounded café menu. Eggs Benedict were delicious!

Breakfast made me sick for the rest of the day. Took an hour to get breakfast. Hash browns were not done. Horrible service and horrible food. Avoid at all costs.

My previous visit to this Sunny Street Café was merely okay, but this one was great! I was with three other people and upon walking in we were warned that the food was coming out a bit slower due to a grill issue. It was nice of them to warn us but our food actually still came out quite fast despite the restaurant being pretty busy. The servers were attentive at getting us refills, friendly, and otherwise great. I made some alterations to my breakfast burrito, asking for bacon instead of sausage, and this request was happily accommodated with my burrito being delicious(and the hash browns that came with it weren’t too shabby either). It is funny how on my first visit the restaurant was quiet and I got so-so service, but this visit I had multiple people with me, the place was hopping, and I got stellar service! Perhaps the first time I just went on an «off» day as this was superb. I plan to come back to Sunny Street again sometime soon and would tell other people to be sure and check it out too.

From the first second we entered the business the impression was great. Brian showed us to our seats and was so very personable and informative. Ashley our server was second to non the best service I have had in a long time. She was full of positive energy that didn’t dwindle and was being seen by all of her tables. Never letting a dirty dish sit or a coffee cup get low she was all about the service. Putting our check down her statement to us was«your not being pushed to leave so please take your time and enjoy our coffee». That was such an outstanding thing to hear seeing that they had a line of people waiting for tables(were packed up and left so that others could have such a pleasurable morning with Ashley). I spoke with the manager as I was leaving to pass along how great Ashley was. I must mention that he too was so pleasant and it was nice to see him working on the floor and really assisting his staff. This store has to together and really understands what service is all about.

We’ve been here several times when they have been busy and when they haven’t. They are consistently under cooking EVERYTHING. The hash browns come out brown and raw inside. Toast gets waved over the toaster. Omelets are served with the inside contents raw including the eggs. BEWARE‼

WONDERFUL. FRESH and Always great service and the presentation on top of that is AMAZING… I hate to say how wonderful this place is, because I don’t want it to get too crowded so I have to wait in line… BUT I have to say coo-dos to the owners… … THEOMELETSARE so delicious and I usually get just the egg white omelet. and whatever they do to it, it tastes so much better than any egg white omelet I’ve ever had.

For their iced coffee, they freeze coffee cubes instead of regular ice to avoid watering it down… great idea! The food here is solid breakfast/diner fare and you should expect the same experience as you would at a First Watch… although, I think First Watch’s food is slightly better. I had one of their omelets and it was solid. All in all, I wouldn’t search this place out for a «special» breakfast but I’d hit it up from time to time. And I would def go for the iced coffee!

Brought the family here for a late breakfast. Even though there were 5 of us it was easy to accommodate us with numerous options. Wide assortment of healthier options as well as traditional and specialty items. Was very pleased they were willing to take special requests. Everything was well prepared and arrived fairly quickly. Service was very attentive and friendly. The place was clean and in good condition. Very good experience. Will be back.

I came here with a friend for lunch today. There weren’t that many people in the restaurant. I got the Too Cool Turkey with fries. The bread was cold. Could have been toasted & had«blah» taste. The turkey itself wasn’t tooo salty, which is a rarity in my book. Fresh cucumbers & tomatoes with the turkey provided different textures & tastes, which I love in a sandwich. Today was a bad day for me since I had a IBS attack. So, I couldn’t really enjoy the food much. The service was great. I would definitely come back here but only with a better behaved stomach.

Sunny Street Café was not on our list of places to visit on our food and fun adventure but I have to say I’m so glad we stumbled across this place! When we first walked in we were greeted by a smiling host who took our name and told us the wait time! We were seated by the most bubbly and happy person I think I have ever seen… It was truly refreshing! She came and checked us and left us to eat with just enough balance! She smiled the entire time and I could see that she was truly a people person if it was an act I couldn’t tell she seem to make everyone that she serve smile and laugh right along with her. She even recognized us the second day we came back and was still just as bubbly and the waiter we had the next was friendly as well… it was a very welcoming place to come and eat breakfast! Something that I truly think is important especially when you are coming from out of town to a new place. Now for the food which is just as important! The first day I ordered a Denver omelet, hash browns and wheat toast. When I first saw the omelet I thought it was strange because I had never saw a square omelet but it was surprisingly good(I do wish it had more filling but that is the greedy chic that lives inside of me.) the hash browns were perfection just enough crisp on the outside and that is not easy to do and the wheat toast was good for wheat toast! My friend sandwich and she was doing the happy dance on the other side of the table. she said it was fresh and tasty! The second day I just had a standard breakfast, bacon, eggs over easy, hash browns with onions and yep wheat toast… it was all very good The second day my friend who was being more of the adventure ordered the full order of stuffed biscuits… in her words she said«Now, this is the ish and they don’t skimp on the gravy!» I wish we had tried the coffee but maybe next time! This is strictly a breakfast and lunch place because they close at 2pm. So, if you are a guest at the Wildwood and you didn’t get your fill from the Continental Breakfast I say try out the Sunny Street Café you won’t regret it! A great staff and delicious food, what else can you ask for when you are traveling!

This is our usual go-to breakfast place after church because its close and normally pretty good. I will say that sometimes the service and food is hit or miss, but lately we’ve had good experiences. On our last visit this past weekend, we were seated quickly and our waitress was very nice. The restaurant was fairly busy(I think Sunday mornings are their busiest time) so we put in our drink and food order in right away. We tried something new off the menu this time, the buckeye smoothie. It was delicious! Perfect blend of banana, peanut butter and creaminess, plus it’s advertised that it’s healthy for you(hmmmmm) so I was a huge fan. I went with my usual 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and side of bacon, which is pretty difficult to screw up. It was all very good, but the bacon was pretty limp and could have been cooked longer. My H ordered the breakfast burrito with a side of potato squares, also very good. My parents had the eggs benedict which was ordered overhard on the egg, but it was still runny. We’ve had that problem almost everytime we go there, I’m not sure why they can’t cook the eggs overhard! All in all, its a cute breakfast spot with good food(and lunch too!). Hopefully they’ll keep improving and do well in Wildwood.

First visit. Was hesitant based on reviews, but usually ignore and make my own decision. Glad I did. A very pleasant experience at a bright and clean restaurant, seated quickly, coffees ordered and served fast. Two excellent omelette’s were ordered along with blueberry pancakes and sides of fresh fruit, hash-browns and biscuits. All were served without error, fresh looking and cooked very well. Our young server was very friendly and not overly attentive, just right. Coffees were freshened and plates cleared as needed. Manager cashed us out and was very pleasant as well. Really having a difficult time finding anything we would see as disappointing. Will definitely be heading there again in the future.
