This was probably the worst taco salad that I have ever been served. Inedible. Will not be hurrying back anytime soon.

I really wanted to like this place. It’s a local business and I’m all about keeping business in the community. The price to quality ratio was way off. Pricey and the food left too much to desire. My son was with me and he aptly described the horchata as «cinnamon water.» And that’s not a good thing. The tortillas tasted like they just came out of a microwave. The meat was not prepared well. How hard is it to season beef for tacos? How about some salt? The salsa was watery and tasteless. I am pretty sure it’s not fresh. Needless to say. Burn me once, shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me. Won’t be going there again. Enjoy the one time profit.

There are two things that really burned my ass about this place and neither came from the spicyness of the food. First, I ordered a taco that was $ 1.75, and a quesadilla that was $ 1.60. The lady at the register rings it up and it comes out to $ 6.82. How is that possible? I asked and she told me that those were the prices for the«small,» and the large was actually more, although that was not listed on the menu. Normally, I would have walked out because that is a pet peeve of mine; the old bait and switch. However, I was starving and decided to let it slide. That leads to problem #2. I walked in and there was a table of 4 already eating. The restaurant was empty minus those 4. It took over 35 minutes to get a single taco and a quesadilla. The lady at the register just plain left. I dont know what the cook was doing, but it took about 40 minutes to get two small items. In addition, I ordered the food for there and the cook walked around the stove to give me two very small wrapped pieces of tin foil. WTF? $ 6.80 and it was literally 4oz of food. No hot sauce, no nothing. Save your time and go around the corner to Taco Elsinore or Don Pancho’s on Clinton Keith.

Freddys taco has very good food. I love the Asada quesadillas. They also have very crispy taquitos and they Make up a mean Bean and cheese burrito.

My 1st review magically«disappeared»! How does that happen? Very dirty, burnt food, slow service. I can’t believe they haven’t been cited by the health department. Will definitely not be back!

Freddy’s Tacos in Wildomar or was it TJ? This place was pretty good, and cheap. once i walked it i thought for a moment i was in TJ, but the menu board looks like a standard Mexican fast food joints board so it was Wildomar, dame. no $ 60 hookers waiting outside to rub your belly after lunch. LOL But the tacos were TJ style very tasty. Had a Asada and Chicken taco, both came with Onions and cilantro and 2 corn tortillas.”$ 5.25″ The Salsa was good. Red salsa was alittle hot but not real hot green was also good. This was a good little place. thanks for the first post. that’s they only way i would of found out about this place. I’ll be aback next week after Political Science class.

As I drove through hell this morning I felt the hunger pains of an early dinner the previous night, ring louder and louder. Luckily, Freddy’s was just down the street from a site I had just visited. I’ve eaten here several times already, each time ordering a different breakfast burrito. Today I ordered the ham & egg breakfast burrito. It comes stuffed with potatoes, refried beans and cheese. It’s a fairly hearty burrito and not really that bad of a way to start your day. I «dined» in and pretty much finished a medium bowl of salsa along with the burrito. The dining room is small, with 44-tops and 42-tops. The item pricing is fair. Alberto’s charges a little less but you’d have to drive 10 minutes to get there. But for hell, this is as good as it gets. Is it far? No, it’s loco…

Just tried this place and it is pretty good here. It’s different than the Americanized Mexican food I’m used to. It has a more homemade style here and is more like how food is in Mexico.
