Not impressed. I have owned & ridden horses all my life & want to pass on a love of riding & horsemanship to my children. I have tried Singletree a number of times(5X) & I must say that I am not impressed by the condition of their horses nor the maint. care & cleanliness of their riding equipment. The women who run the stable are VERY experienced and knowledgeable. They do teach lessons well & have appropriate expectations for their students however the horses are in very poor condition. I am not suggesting that the horses are not cared for but almost all of the lesson horses are well into their senior years & past retirement, have perm. lameness, skin issues, idiosyncrasies etc. I am MOSTCONCERNED that there is farm equipment perm. kept in the middle of the riding ring! I am certain that this is NOTSAFE& if a rider is thrown or falls onto that equipment– it is a shame because it so obviously«an accident waiting to happen». It is hard for me to believe that there isn’t another place to store or park the farm equipment when they have acres of land, fenced areas, barns & out buildings. This lack of concern for safety is very upsetting & we will not be returning to this stable.

My homey and I came here one hot and humid Sunday afternoon to have our first experience of horse back riding, and let me tell you… we had a LOT of fun! The staff is extremely helpful and courteous, a little too gregarious at times lol… What we didn’t like was that they didn’t let us out of the barn cause it was our first friggin’ time! We were there just to try it out($ 20 a piece for an hour), although they offer full classes for interested individuals. Note to all the Wichitans who are always like«there’s not much to do around here…», well there is! Go out and explore, horse back riding might be the thing for you.
