I’m currently here, ordered a turkey bacon avocado sandwich & it came with no avocado, by far the worst sandwich I ever tasted, the bagel is hard, almost broke a tooth, the guy taking orders has no people skills and definitely a little slow, worst Winchells experience ever, F this place, I would give it no stars if I could…

Hit and miss with this place. Sometimes the donuts are fresh sometimes they are not, also depending on who’s working there like today I got a fairly new young man and he totally smashed my glazed donuts which sucked. Like that you can use your credit card to pay.

Excellent service but clerk spoke limited English. Boston cream bottom was over baked with lots of oil. That’s the only donut I usually eat so I know other stores didn’t bake like that one. Coffee was good.

Always clean, always have a great variety of donuts, always cheap. Though it doesn’t fit in well with the wonderfully foodie Uptown Whittier shops, we love it because it’s close to home and always open.

I’ve gone to so many winchells locations and have never been happy because they never have donuts late at night just the ugly crappy ones no one ever wants! And this location has it all! From filled donuts, twists, sprinkles, donut holes EVERYTHING! And the guy that helped us out was totally nice! I’m so excited to have this winchells down the street from my house! #fatgirlproblems

It wasn’t great and it wasn’t horrible… so it’s just in the middle. If you’re looking for average donuts, you can go here. However, I think if you want a more greater selection you should try another donut location.

Oh, we hit this place up after dinner at a new place we found in Whittier. This Winchell’s here is the best i’ve been to. They had it fully stocked and half were just made. wowie wowie!!! They also had bagel sandwiches. Nice, clean place with very good donuts. Woop woop!!!

Terrible customer service. One person ahead of me in line orders sooner bagel-egg sandwich that needs to be made fresh. I get that and can wait, but 3 minutes roll by and I haven’t been greeted or acknowledged that I’m even standing there. I’ll take a «be with you in just a moment» but nothing at all?!? Eventually the lady in back stops making donuts(their racks are full BTW) and takes my order for one donut and a cup of coffee. Come on Lady! Learn how to serve customers or get out of the service industry!

The worst donuts in the world. The donut holes with sprinkles are by far the most disgusting things I’ve ever eaten.

Meh, I’ve had better in the same town for a cheaper price. The donuts where stale and the doughnut holes had hardly any glaze on them. I’m a health freak and I wanted a donut or three and I was bummed that I broke my healthy eating habit for these donuts. Probably will be taking my donut gorging business elsewhere. good day.

I think this place is 24 hours… I’m not positive but if not, then they certainly are open late! I was supporting my friend who DJs at a hookah lounge just down the street and suddenly got hit with a craving for some sort of dessert. Apparently the Mexican chocolate soufflé we had at dinner just didn’t cut it for me: P So we strolled in here to pick up some donut holes and some milk. Prices were decent, no complaints there. The guy who helped us was super nice. My only(slightly important) complaint was that the donut holes were kind of stale :(I was so sad! Maybe I should have ordered something other than donut holes but we were trying to order something that could be shared amongst our large party. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll try the donuts here again and hopefully I’ll get some delicious soft ones :) Fingers crossed.

Um, there’s actually a real Winchell’s still here on Earth?! I usually come here at night, and I always always get the sprinkle donuts. They are so delicious. I’m sorry, but Yum Yum has nothing on Winchell’s! Coffee here is really cheap, once the guy just let me have it for free. The staff here is friendly and the prices are really great. There’s a nice seating area as well. Oh, and they don’t rush you out either, my friend and I will just chat for hours and they never mind. One time my sprinkle donuts were all gone and the guy made me one fresh, and it was sooooooo good! Sprinkle donuts, yay!

«So which donut u want me to get you?» me: «The Swirly looking one with chocolate» «The twisted one?» me” No… the sphincter looking one” «Oh! ok i know which one…» I guess i should just always start off with«the sphincter» looking one. It’s unfortunate that besides the apple fritter, this is my favorite– but it is. I really don’t know what the proper name for those donuts are…(do you?). I prefer the strawberry or chocolate frosted ones– I hate maple. But knowing my fickleness, as my keylimecrush phases out surely, i might start liking maple. *on the corner of Hadley and Greenleaf. Still can’t believe that no one Unilocaled this place yet. *** I just got a message from THEAWESOME Lolia S that my sphincter donut has a proper name: FRENCHCRULLER! fancy yo.
