Although its a hole in the wall, this place does have two things that does make it likable: cheap drinks and free pool on Tuesdays.(I think that the day) Could go for better music, but for now, seems like a decent local spot.

Love living across the street from Tubby’s! Great place to go! Pool tables, great beer, and excellent food. Try the breakfast!

I went here for my first time last night and I ordered 2 jack and cokes and he told me it was ten dollars. I paid with a 20 and he came back to give me four dollars. I gave him two for the tip and proceeded to walk away with my drinks. I thought about it the next day and gave the store a call to verify the amount for the drink and it was indeed just a 10. I just think honesty is the key to business and the bar tender was dishonest. Other than that, I enjoyed myself which is why I won’t give a 1 star for their dishonesty.

A bar with really good food and decent drink prices! I’m in. Add great service and I’m back again and again. That’s Tubby’s!

Really great place to hang out! Food was good and the vibe was nice! The waiter was actually the normal bartender but he was filling in and was doing a fine job!

Good Ol’ Tub’s. I have been coming here to drink for years, but just recently discovered this place has AMAZING breakfast on the weekends. The food is quick and easy. I got the eggs/potatoes/toast and licked the plate clean. My mouth is watering thinking about eating that again.

Prices are good but service is pretty bad! Was ready for another drink with an empty glass and was not asked if I needed another drink.

Holding back 5th star because I only been here 1x. But its a really good spot to have nearby. Wife and I sat at the bar and the friendly bartender came by quickly. They have a great selection of beers(both craft and regular). We got to ice cold Stella’s on tap and ordered dinner. My wife got the Tubby’s burger. ½ lb cheeseburger with Lettuce, Tomato and onion with fries and a pickle… $ 6.00 or so. I got the prime rib special which included a salad with texas toast, a choice of potato(loaded baked for me), au jus and horseradish sauce. The food was just great and a people were nice. They had a few games on the many tv’s and great music playing in the background. $ 45.00 + tip for 4 Stella’s and all the food. Really great place and I can’t wait to go back again.

Walked in the door and didn’t even get greeted. Seated ourselves and waited patiently and nothing. Moved to a booth and sat for 15 more minutes and not 1 person came over to our table. Needless to say we left and are now headed to Buffalo Wild Wings. Won’t ever be back!

So on St Patricks Day I go to another restaurant that had been advertising the Cornbeef and Cabbage all month long. The wife and I wait for our 20 year old daughter to get done tutoring her little pupil and we take off at 6PM, by 6:20 we are seated and I state that I dont need a menu, I am getting the Cornbeef… and the waiter replies that he just gave away the last plate to the lady sitting next to us. SOWESTARTCALLINGAROUNDANDTUBBY’S ISTHEONLYONESTILLSELLINGITINTHEAREA. When we get there, I was kind of concerned with my daughter since she is 20 but looks like she is 14. Af first the manager is like, «no… but then he says as long as we are out by 8 pm.» We waited a long time but its St Patricks Day in a Irish Pub. If anyone complains about that, then you need help! When the brought my plate, he said I got the 2nd to the last plate and I wouldn’t want to be that guy because my portion was really small, BUT I got my cornbeef on St Paddy’s day. Thats why they got the 4 stars instead of 3. I will have to go back on a regular day and re-evaluate the place. Looks like a fun place to be.

Went there last night with my girlfriend as we were looking for I new place to go; our usual place it just too far some nights. This is a nice bar with really good food. The people are nice and friendly in clouding the bartenders. My only complaint is that the drink pour is a bit lite.

Full bar, really good food. The owners are affable rocker types who can be depended on to supply the name of that band who did that song that you can’t remember but really want to play on the jukebox. The patrons tend to be friendly too. Jessica makes a mean martini. Close your eyes and you might think you’re at Musso and Frank’s. Good selection of beer. These folks are not dialing it in, booze-wise. Unless you’re a sports fan, you will want to avoid when there’s a big game on. It will be packed. I take exception to Tubby’s being called a dive bar. It’s clean, well-tended and their blenders actually work. I would call it a nice neighborhood bar.

For $ 16 you can get a prime rib meal with a choice of side, soup or salad and they give you cheese bread(similar to sizzler’s) you can’t go wrong! Prime rib was cooked to my preference of medium rare and the seasoning was delicious! Definitely a pub/bar atmosphere with first come first serve seating. I came around 8 and they were already running out of their prime rib. I would definitely come back! Also you order at the bar but they’ll being the food to you. Great service!

Love. My new favorite place for food and drinks. After trying the bacon cheeseburger I became addicted. It was hard for me to even try other menu items. Once I satisfied my burger cravings and tried other meals I was blown away by how consistently good everything else is. So the women responsible for saving Tubby’s reputation with me(& the hubby) is Victoria. She’s usually there in the early evening and is totally awesome!

Looking back on my last review, it did not give justice to how great this establishment really is. We came by late yesterday afternoon for a drink on the way to family function(one of those«your dreading to go to» events, but if you don’t go you’ll be back lashed for life for not going) and wow to my surprise they had Hangar 24 on tap! Holy batcrap was I ecstatic! This place does remind me of Cheer’s like the previous reviews state, locals there all know each other & the bartender(didn’t catch his name, I think Mark?) was really cool, like a well-oiled machine, loyal & took care of everyone. People there were mellow, into their conversations, and hadn’t been there in a long while, so we stood out like newbies, but they were cool, mostly white folks & us being hispanic, they didn’t gawk at us like other places normally do, just kept to their conversations — really nice when people are cool like that. The other thing my husband liked was the sign they have posted on the outside, with a dress code/“no-no” list one item being«no baggy pants». They basically keep their bar free of the«undesirables’ & the problems that come with that… Definitely not a ghetto bar… Perfect! It’s still a nice place where you can be known or unnoticed, your choice. A true hidden underrated gem of a spot to stop for a drink or meal — food is also great. It’s dark, got the pool tables, the wall jukebox, the u shaped booths, lots of brewski’s on tap, mixed drinks, wine, pretty much a full bar & probably more for being small, but far better than the larger bars in the area where you get lost amongst the trendy hipster masses. And for me a big plus because they have Hangar… yah again! Definitely coming back, but do take serious what the one or two reviewers stated about the parking situation, it can be dangerous when leaving the small parking lot of this dead strip mall, everyone obviously there for the bar & leaving the hungry police to stake out their potential victims. Maybe come with a friends & perhaps one friend who doesn’t drink who can drive.
