Where else can two people eat dinner for under $ 10 and still have food left over to take home the next day?!?
I am a fan of the fish (fried) tacos on Wednesday. The line almost wrapped around the back of the small restaurant so all these people cannot be wrong!

Wednesday $ 1 fish tacos. Need I say more? Sure the line is out the door and parking lot is always full… But to me it’s worth the wait! Everything is fresh. Even during the rest of the week it’s still worth waiting for.

I honestly come to this place to cure my hangovers. The food is great. The prices are great. I never had a problem here and I’ve been coming here since it first open. So if you had a drunk night come here around 12 and you will be cured!

Come one, come all… for their Wednesday $ 1 fish tacos!!! Amazing price, amazing fish tacos. Love how it’s on a Wednesday instead of typical Tuesday specials.
Be prepared the lines on Wednesdays will be out the door, but worth the wait.
Fill up on all your sides, especially the chili peppers (spicy), at the toppings bar!

Look guys, I’ve read your reviews … mostly customer service issues’ (blah, blah. blah)
It really comes down to «flavor»…and honestly… I’ve had WAY better fish tacos… bottom line, their «cool» if you just got out of the bar … but, to actually say «hey Bob… we have to go to Tacos Baja» is a sad statement.

I love the shrimp tacos here and especially the shrimp quesadilla. I frequent this place as it’s very close to my house and very affordable. The food is very good and tasty and I really like the rice.
The tacos are Ensenada style and I stopped going down there after all the Cartel stuff. So this place satisfies my urge for my Ensenada taco fix.
Good food at affordable prices just be prepared to wait in line.

This place always has a line out the door. I used to go to all the way to Laguna Beach for my favorite ceviche but I found my new place right here in Whittier. Their ceviche de pescado is by far the best ceviche I’ve had. There’s chunks of fish (not morsels) in the ceviche and it is always fresh. All their cócteles are great! You really get your money’s worth.
Other great menu items are: baja burrito, barbacoa burrito, fish tacos, and shrimp quesadilla.
The only downside (which I won’t let it affect my rating) is the wait sometimes, and the lack of seating if you come during lunch rush hour.

Feel bad to review only 3 stars. But hint was when I called to place an order first time they forgot about me. Called again to place order and did get through. Impression is that no need to call in order, I waited almost a half hour for a burrito. Also not sure what was so funny about this the cashier seemed to humored by having so many waiting.
Since I’ve decided time before to overlook the lack of cleanliness inside and outside. And if the fish wasn’t so good I’ll probably not come back to this location.

Okay so the place looks clean, some what of a line. You get to the register and you get a short really rude gentlemen taking your order… really. I say,” i called in my order, im Jenni.” Short guy, «ur order isn’t ready but ur total is $ 30…» Me, «okay thank you. «i wait another 23 mins and i see 7 ppl come in, eat and leave.
WTF really, i called it in. Well u guys get my point. I dnt think id like to put up with that ever again oh my tacos de camaron weren’t that great nd they were cold. Rice was ok but coctel de camarón tasted like water down ketchup up and some pico de gallo… not the greatest. Yeah… disappointed

Hey stop lying to your customers!
You have a joke of a phone order system. As soon as we wait the «ready in 15 mins» I drive there and what do I see: your staff telling the grill my phone order. Plus I would have never got that order so fast if I had to wait in the damn long line, if I didn’t cut ahead to tell you I have a phone order it would have been another long wait to see the cashier and tell them I have a phone order.
You guys have long lines, this is why people at other restaurants place phone orders. Your location is a joke in customer service. This isn’t the first time this has happened either, I don’t know if this is just certain people or your front desk staff doesn’t understand PHONE ORDERS.
Too bad your crappy service is ruining your great food.

Incredible, authentic Mexican food. I happened to live in Puerto Vallarta and Cani San Lucas for about 5 years and this reminds me of the quick shrimp taco grills there– truly authentic fish tacos, shrimp tacos, burritos, fresh ingredients and homemade, delicious tortillas are used.
Jamaica and tamarindo drinks here– not the fake stuff either!

Ceviche– Shrimp Tostados $ 2.99 (There’s other Ceviches)
Shrimp Quesadilla, This is absolutely my Favorite Dish here! Comes with Rice, Beans, and Salad!!! So Delicious!
Tacos (Meat, Shrimp, etc.)
Baja Burrito (Shrimp, Fish, etc)
Definitely Decent Priced food Approximately $ 2-​$ 10 bucks per item.
Drinks: Sodas or Horchata.
Condiments: Red Radishes, Yellow Jalepenos, and Lemons!
Definitely One of my most Favorite Mexican Places that we found!!! We are truly happy, Thank you guys for the Awesome Customer Services, it really makes us so happy to eat your delicious food each time we come! Thank you!

Best fish/​shrimp burrito I’ve had thus far. I got the Baja burrito that has both fish and shrimp inside for $ 7 and it was dericious. Get the chilies they’re free and tasty. Prices for everything else are cheap. They have fish taco Wednesday except on Ash Wednesday when you can get fish tacos for 99 cents each. If I lived closer I’d be there a lot more but since they’re inland Whittier and far from most of freeways it’s a trek getting out there.
They have horchata which is always a plus.

In Whittier? Hungry? Like fish tacos? And have at least $ 1.10?
Look no further! Taco Baja will feed you!!! 1 delicious (could be better if it wasn’t breaded) fish taco with all the trimmings for just a dollar! I love that their special on this is ALL day Wednesday instead of those places that have time restrictions on their specials.
As you can already tell, like any good special, people will flock to. Especially during lunch hours. So if you’re thinking of grabbing a feast of tacos and sitting –think again; this place gets SLAMMED! But at a buck a pop, I don’t mind standing outside enjoying the beautiful So Cal weather and fish tacos. I also love how fast they get your food out to you real quick, so no worries about the out the door line, you’ll get your food in the knick of time to head back to the office. :)

I accidentally showed up here on a Wednesday and was confronted with a line out the door of seafood hungry maniacs… aka…my kinda people.
Luckily I’m not claustrophobic otherwise I’da been freaking the fu*k out…
Anywho…
FISH TACO
Only 99 gawdamn cents cuz it was Wednesday so that explained the aforementioned madness. I ate it all up and it was pretty damn good… worth at least $ 1.73 if you ask me… but seriously, don’t ask me cuz if you are actually entertaining the idea of advice from me then you may want to consult a psychologist. Just sayin.
SHRIMP N CRAB CEVICHE
I think I took a bite outta this and unfortunately exclaimed rather loudly that «gawdamn this is pretty damn good!» so then my ravenous ass kids circled like vultures and ate all my damn ceviche cuz they can be selfish little bastards just like their dad.
The moral of this review?
Don’t have kids and eat all the damn ceviche by yourself.
