Been coming here for years. lately it seems like the place and staff has gone down hill fast… charge you extra for items, get home and they havent even given you the items you just paid EXTRA for… check your order before leaving… they also seem to run out of chicken… alot . LOLREALLY. Since chicken is all your selling the last time we checked… refused to be given white meat chicken, although you have to pay extra for that … its silly so we hopped in the car and drove to Juan Pollo Who were happy to take our money and got our all white breast chicken dinner meal. which is way healthier than brown meat in the first place. lol Get your act together, now that you have the authentic Jaun Pollo 5 min from you as your competitor.

I haven’t even walked out. I’m waiting for my take out food. I am so touched by the compassion of the workers here who I just witnessed offer a homeless man some food. Bonus points for this place. I will come back on a regular basis. Blessings to this business and the people who care.

This used to be called Juan Pollo. I think it’s the same owners, they just did a name change. Everything is still the same. I frequent this place because it’s right up the street from me and they are very quick. I’m not one for chicken with bones, so I like to get their Pollo Bowl which is chicken on a bed of rice and beans. My husband loves their dinner special that comes with ½ chicken, beans, potato salad, rice, tortillas and your choice of salsa. They’re relatively inexpensive and definitely a dinner rotation staple.

If you’re looking for juan’s pollo this is not the place. Very similar name but the chicken is bomb! So if you want Juan pollo, then this will be good too! Might be the same owner or an old employee because chicken tastes the same. Can’t go wrong with it! Chicken is very moist and da bomb!!!

If you like El Pollo Loco and want to continue liking it then don’t eat here as you will be spoiled and won’t want EPL’s puny dry chickens any longer. Juan’s chicken has that moist, falling off the bone, taste and the potato salad is as great as everyone is saying. Plus it’s good value for the money as I’m always asking for a to-go box for my leftovers.

What happened to juan pollo? Same potato salad no joke the main reason I would spend a dime for chicken is to get all sides potato salad! ! But to spend $ 8,95 + tax -@$ 9.25 hoping for the same juicy chicken. .sorry NO it has a similar skin flavor but inside was dry. Even the thigh and leg. Overcooked. 3 tiny tortillas rather do El pollo nortena. That place kicks ass. Find one near you or drive. Best chicken around. Best location harbor Blvd off 22 freeway in garden grove. I miss juan pollo. Won’t come back except for a side of potato salad if I need a side to go with a another sandwich elsewhere. Save your money.

Ordered a whole chicken with tortillas and salsa $ 12.50 as I was passing by and hungry. Seasoning on the skin was good, but chicken was quite dry on the inside. Restaurant looked rather dirty and dated. I regularly buy the rotisserie chicken at Costco for $ 5 and I’d say Costco wins hands down.

Ordered 5 rotisserie chickens for a company lunch. Chicken is pretty good. There are definitely better places but this location was convenient with delivery. Their sides however are better than the chicken. Potato salad is amazing and their rice is special… Has chicken pieces and green onions in it. They also have these jalapeños with carrots. These were very spicy. Overall good experience

Chicken is good. Rice sucks since it’s only bouillon on steamed rice. The lady wouldn’t grant me the 2 chickens for 13.99 because my phone died and I couldn’t show the coupon online. Charged me $ 20 for 2 chickens. BADBUSINESS. Lady had an attitude and a shit face. I won’t be going back because of their bad rice, customer service & shit face.

I’ve been coming here for over 15 years it used to be called Juan Pollo before, not sure why the name change. Either name, the chicken is moist and delicious as always! Puts El Pollo Loco to shame

The wrong Juan that turned out to be the right Juan. Lol. Looking for Juan Pollo and I ended up here, why. Because I wasn’t paying attention on my Unilocal App. I typed in Juan Pollo on my phone and it did get me the right restaurant, but in Whittier. I saw one that was closer in La Habra, so I went to the filter option and sorted it by distance. I was so happy to have one so much closer to my house. I wasn’t paying attention, It was Juan’s Rotiserie Chicken, Not Juan Pollo, my bad. Well, as it turned out. wow, those chicken were very tasty. It was very lemony and moist. Delicious. The whole chicken came with Potato Salad, Rice, Beans and Tortillas. Potato salad was super good. Rice and beans were just well rice and beans, nothing special. I liked their salsa, but they only give you one container. I’m asking for at least two probably three next time. I got there before they closed, so service was not the friendliest. I understand they were cleaning up and getting ready to go home, they get a pass this time. Pricing was reasonable. They have party deals for multiple chickens and sides that are real bargains. I came here by mistake, but it won’t be next time. Solid 4 Stars.

I don’t know if it’s in my head but ever since this place has changed names or separated from the Juan pollo name… it’s slightly different and not as good!

Ever since chicken was introduced into Breaking Bad, I can’t help to look around to see if any shady characters are planning a multi-billion dollar drug scheme. Never happens. In fact, the complete opposite as the Whittier PD can be seen here at night. Nothing bad, they just seem to really like the food. This used to be a Juan Pollo until the owner decided to do his own thing and change two of his stores to Juan’s Rotisserie Chicken. It’s the same menu, same employees and same setup. Just the name sounds a little more more Americanized and the logo is a little cleaner. Nothing else. My fave is their lunch special. For $ 7 you get chicken, tortillas, rice, potato salad, and a drink. It’s a great bargain for the amount of food that you get. The meal itself: Chicken: I love that the chicken is super moist and the skin is super crispy. I hate skin usually and I like nibbling on it. It still has that rendered rotisserie grease baked in it, making it super flavorful. In this lunch special you get a breast and a thigh. Both have a ton of meat on them and you’ll barely haven’t anything left of it after you’re done tearing into it. Potato Salad: A lot of people will say that Juan Pollo has the best potato salad and it’s hard to argue it. It’s not too sweet and it’s not overly mayonnaised. The potato pieces are nice and cubed and everything holds nicely together. Even though you’re only given a small container, it goes a long way! Rice: I like their rice a lot. It’s fluffy and there are small pieces of chicken scattered within it. They use their own chicken stock which makes the rice moist and gives it a lot of flavor. The small container situation plays tricks on you, because there is a lot hiding in it as well. The inside seating is small and super cramped. Some of the tables require someone from an adjacent table to get up before someone from the other table can even maneuver out of their tight spot. Hard to explain, but super awkward to be in. Parking is a joke, too. It’s on an uphill slant coming off the street, so if you miss it, you have to go all the way down the block to flip a u-turn to try again. There are only a handful of spaces, otherwise you have to get crafty and park on the street, which again, takes a lot of patience and sometimes a little bit of walking. I always opt to take my order to go. It’s too chaotic trying to eat here with more than two people. It’s just not setup for a nice dining experience while you’re there. Name change or not, I’ll continue going back. It’s cheap for a semi-healthy meal.

1. No longer apart of the Juan Pollo chain. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years now. Lunch, Dinner, Party Catering, you name it. Even though I’ve moved to the South Bay I still make the drive on some Saturday’s and grab a mini pak. Even after the name change, the food was still on point until this past weekend. Customer Serive was always relatively dry, but who cares, you grab your chicken and go, however, this time dry service and the chicken dry too plus chicken into mystery pieces? One whole chicken is 8 pieces… For some reason my breast portions where cut into quarter halves and the legs were torn about… it looked a mess! Since I’m home now, 45 minutes away, I didn’t drive back, but called to speak to a manager which she was«not in» Saturday or Sunday morning. I feel like I was served rejected chicken/the chicken they breakdown to make their tacos and salad with. Basically, this one experience after all these years was enough to turn me off… yes, that’s how bad the food and attitude was. I’m not going to even mention the rice situation. Disappointed.
