Visited the fruit man today. Oh man, that huge bag of salty, spicy and fresh fruit hit the spot! $ 5 is nothing compared to what you would pay for that amount of fruity goodness at a restaurant. For the timid, he understands enough English for you to get by and his cart seems well-kept and sanitary. GONOW! I actually keep $ 5 in my wallet at all times now just for this purpose and often«miss» my freeway exit at Beverly so I have to get off the 605 where he hangs out in the 76 station parking lot, haha.

This guy is awesome! for 5 bucks i got this HUGE bag of freshly sliced mango. The amount of mango he gave me can probably make 3 four dollar containers of the fruit they sell on rosemead between pico rivera and south el monte. The quality is top notch too. I came here around 6 – 630 on a monday night. He’s at 76 gas station.

Ok, on the weekends, there is an awesome fruit vendor on the corner near the gas station. No he does not just sale fruit! For about five dollars you get a huge bag of sliced mangos, cucumbers, watermelons and more; drenched in chili powder and fresh squeezed lime juice. I wish he was there all the time. Nothing would be yummier after a long day of work than a giant bag of spicy fruits! Mmmmmmm!
