Bella Veta Pizza & Pasta

Stopped here passing through whitney. The inside is nicely presented and homely. The service was slow but good. I had the special of the day which was Shrimp Diablo and it was excellent. Just the right amount of spicyness and the spaghetti pasta was great. The appetizer bread was rhe best ive had at any italian place, and the house dressing is very delicious. Will make the trip back to whitney just to eat here.
Portions were generous. Prices were good.

Found this little Italian place while staying at Lake Whitney. Overall a solid place to eat at. Went with a group of 10 and there was only one person working the front as server and hostess. Service was prompt and food came out pretty quickly given that we had that many people. I liked the décor as well, a nice atmosphere.
We got a mix of various pizzas and pasta. The pizza had good flavor, on the thinner side if you’re into that. We got two XXL sizes and the slices would fall apart because they were so big (not a complaint). The pasta was decent but the general consensus was that there was too much sauce. If they held back on the sauce then the pasta would be perfect. Based on what we received I would say the pizza is better but if you ask for light sauce then the pasta is choice.
From a small town restaurant there isn’t much more you could ask for. The selection isn’t as much as I would expect from a different Italian place but for Whitney, TX I am more than satisfied. I would come back!

Okay pasta dishes… But, the flavour of the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich is great… But, the Philly has way too much bread… Either, add more meat and veggies to the sandwich… Or, reduce the excess amount of bread!!! We’ll be back!!!

I had the Eggplant Parmesan and is was very good and the portion size was great too. I would eat here anytime.

I love this place! Great food and a neat atmosphere. Excellent pizza too. Be advised it does close at 9 not 10 like their website says. Best Italian in the area.
