I went in last week for the first time. I had a fill and a pedicure and it was awesome. the décor was classy and there was relaxing spa music playing. They give fantastic foot and hand massages! looking forward to my next visit!!!

I decided to go here because they are open on Sundays. When I got there a girl handed me a basket of nail colors without introducing herself or welcoming me. At first I thought I sat in her seat lol. Anyway, the service was decent as was the manicure but $ 30 for a fill? Seriously? and the gentleman that did my manicure bruised my hand from being too rough with the «hand massage»…won’t go back.

I received a gift certificate for Christmas and tried the salon out today. I’m pretty impressed. It’s a bit more pricey than I’m used to but totally worth it. I had an anti aging facial. It was amazing. She took her time and didn’t rush a thing. The salon is super clean and very well maintained. I’ll be going back for other services as well. I highly recommend them.

The worst manicure I’ve ever gotten. The atmosphere is nice and they took me right away, but those were about the only good things. The nail technician shaped my nails ok but when it came to paint, it looks like a toddler painted them. They are goopy, thick, and the lines of the French tips are extremely uneven and sloppy. There are missing spots, she cut my finger, and gel polish is all over my skin. She attempted to remove this excess polish by cutting it off with nail trimmers, which was painful and ineffective. When she waxed my eyebrows, she was not gentle at all and they are now very red and still stinging. I regret going and will not be returning.

They are obnoxious about up selling their other services. When I walked in I said I needed a pedicure, I didn’t ask for anything else. She asked me twice about getting my eyebrows done and about getting a manicure even though I told her I had just had both done, she even took my hand into hers and looked at my freshly done nails and still asked twice! I know every nail salon tries this, I just wish they’d realize it stops people from coming back. First and last time for me.

They took my friend 20 minutes before me and we got there at the same time, with at least 2 technicians doing nothing in the salon. I was about to leave when a man finally sat me down and started filing my nails. He did a nice job cutting and shaping my nails and was very quick. However the top coat he used seemed to be too thick and 4 of my nails smudged within 12 hours. Good for when your regular salon is busy but I will not be returning.

Super clean salon. One of the best pedicures I’ve ever had. They accepted my friend and I’s walk-​in for a mani/​pedi even though they closed in a half hour, and even stayed late to do my eyebrows. Will definitely be returning!

I love Maggie and the rest of the girls at Calming Lotus! They are always friendly and willing to squeeze you in for an appointment. They are very good at what they do. Not to mention that the new building is beautiful and super clean! This is the only place I’ll go to get my toes done!

My sister was charged $ 67 for a mani pedi and they refused to explain in English what the extra charges were. and told me I couldn’t see the bill? What business doesn’t show customers a bill??? Or gets offended when u ask?
THEN…
My card was charged TWICE!!! Just filed a claim with my bank!!! WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!!! Don’t give them your business! There are plenty other nail salons!

Beautiful new salon in Whitman. I took my daughter and I here last week for pedicures, and they were amazing. I went by myself today for a full set of nails. Maggie did them, and they’re beautiful. The décor is very calming and tasteful, the staff very friendly (especially Maggie!). They have a special until the 31st of 20% off and a free eyebrow wax. Admittedly, I was thinking «Um, I’m probably going to pass on the eyebrow wax, because one mis-​swoop, and your face is done for, but there’s something about Maggie I trusted, and she was done in literally 5 minutes and my brows look great. I will say, though, they’re a new salon, with great reviews, so be prepared to wait a bit on weekends, especially if you don’t have an appointment. I’m sure that will all filter out eventually, but it really is worth the wait.
