I hadn’t been here in years. I had stopped going because I was 18 and thought Ifound somewhere better. So, I walk in 2 weeks ago and let me tell you! I really screwed up by leaving! they did SUCH a great job with my pedi and gel mani. I don’t remember the girls name who helped me but she was fantastic. my nails were perfect!

I found out about this place through my comanager who said his mother had been going here so I thought I’d give it a try. I walked in there with no appointment. There were only 4 workers & it was empty so I thought I wouldn’t be waiting long. Holy crap was I wrong. I waited an hour before I was taken. The«manager» came up to me & asked me what I wanted & I told her a french manicure. She asked me gel or regular & I told her regular. I informed her about a nail that was starting to break & asked if she could do anything to prevent/slow down the breaking. She files my nails & then tells me another girl would be doing my nails & informed her about the broken nail. She asks me what kind of manicure I wanted & proceeds to do it. Not only did she make my cuticle bleed but there’s bubbles on my nails & ended up smudging even sitting for about half an hour drying. It was nice that she didn’t charge me for fixing my nails, that much I’ll give them. For $ 10 its not really worth it unless you need your nails done«quick.» No way will I be going back.

I tried this nail salon because the Unilocal reviews said they were good. Also, I found out online that their manicures are only $ 6! For $ 6, it was definitely worth it. The lady doing my nails wasn’t talkative, which I didn’t mind at all. She did a good job on my nails though. My nails were nicely filed and painted. I’ve been to other nail salons that give complimentary hand and back massages. This salon didn’t provide any for me. It was not a big deal considering a regular manicure was only $ 6. Drying of my nails were kind of mediocre. She turned on a mini fan next to the table, and I was expected to dry my nails with a mini blowing fan. Whatevs, Again $ 6 manicure. Can’t beat that!

This place is amazing I’ve been a customer for 8 years now and refuse to go to anybody else. I have Helen do my tips and will not trade her for someone else at another place. I trust her and if you go to this place you’ll see that all clients that go they’re are going to them for yeeeaarrrssssss! Now think about it f they have they’re clientele of years obviously they’re doing something right! I hear horror stories about other nail salons in the area and can honestly say I’m always happy and the staff is priceless. They’re sweet caring and they will take care of you. My nails are constantly getting complements and I’ve never gotten an infection or seen such things that the Meir m is claiming. So yes I beg to differ I just think she’s the competition and just wants to scare all away with her bs I recommended this space to my girlfriends and they come from all over to come to Whitestone to get they’re nails done. This nail salon is far from being unprofessional and dirty. I’m a hairdresser and I’ve seen dirty. I love this place!

«Eek! Methinks not» is correct. I’ve been here twice and had I stopped after the first time, I would have given them 3 stars. Their tools are NOT clean. I was getting a pedicure next to a man who was getting his feet cleaned up. His nail technician dug into the crevices of his toe nails until he bled. He finished before me and they did not sanitize the pedicure sink his feet were soaking in. Who knows how often this happens and if my feet were soaking in the residue of someone else’s nasty foot juice, or worse… blood. I also did not see them putting the tools away to be sanitized. The most disgusting thing was that they used the same foot scrubber thing to scrub my feet right after they used it on him. All they do is swipe it around the soapy water where your feet are still soaking and put it back in their basket to use on the next customer. I should have said something, but I shouldn’t have to! They tried to do my friend’s manicure while she was still sitting in the pedicure seat until we asked them if she can have a seat at a table. I have no idea why they would do this. Her nail technician had her earphones in while watching a movie on her smart phone the whole time and nipped my friend’s cuticle and made her bleed. Real nice dedication. There were also children running around everywhere. They were loud and annoying and left their dirty socks in the middle of the floor.

The best mani pedi and tips around! Been going here for about 6 years and I’m still so happy with them. $ 16 for a mani n pedi Monday thru Wednesday, and only $ 22 to make them both French!

THEBEST value in town for a Manicure, Pedicure and Waxing I’ve been to tons of different nail salons in this city, and by far, this has to be the most affordable. The staff there is super nice – I am not used to having a team of nail techs saying«GOODBYE!!» when I am leaving. If you have to get a pedicure done, book an appointment with Sami. She’s so thorough and funny. I call my mani/pedi sessions there a «therapy hour.» They are the best in town and they always make room for a new client even when busy.
