There isn’t a lot of great places that deliver in the area… unless you want sub par pizza or chinese. I hate waiting in line for pickup from the local restaurants. We were scoping out Unilocal and came across the Burger Shack. Really easy to order online. Our food was delivered quickly and it was delicious… EVERYTHING was delicious. It was worth the $$ for the quality of food and service. I think we found a good Friday or Saturday dinner choice.

It amazes me to no end that a little tiny burger joint set in a residential area can generate so much teeth grinding and obvious fake reviews that this listing has almost as many non-recommended reviews as it has legit ones. Lets keep it really simple. The customer service at The Burger Shack is top notch. That is fact. It is rare to not have one of the two owners in some form either take your order, personally deliver the food to the table, come around to check on you to make sure that everything is good and then thank you on your way out. There is far more going on here than just regular beef burgers. You’ve got everything from standard beef burgers stuffed with things like bacon, mushrooms, onions to veggie to pulled pork to gyro meat to falafel to chicken, turkey, cod and salmon. Forget Arby’s slogan with We Have the Meats because TBS has you covered from every possible angle. On top of this they also solicit suggestions from their customers for their Burger of the Month program so you never know what will be next. Aside of that part of the menu they also now have two coolers with various soft drinks and grab go containers of their homemade Hummus and jambalaya. Just to be fair, if there is one thing on the menu I don’t recommend it would be the hot dog section as I can’t imagine four dollars or more for just one dog. Look, TBS is not fancy by any means but what it is, is simple-honest-mostly home made food that is served by owners who really care about their customers.

I love little places like this. Family run, owner takes your order, creative menu items and homemade lemonade to boot. The Burger Shack offers a wide array of burgers — most of them stuffed as was mine stuffed with mushrooms, bacon and cheese — and sandwiches including BBQ pulled pork and grilled chicken wraps. Also offers soup and dessert. Oh yeah — the fries were pretty righteous too. For some reason I opted for the fries with gravy(probably because I’ve never seen that before on a menu). The burger was 94% lean, perfectly cooked to order, in my case medium rare. The swiss chess was generously draped across the burger and the mushrooms were bursting from being stuffed into the meat, which was nestled inside a freshly baked bun. The fries were thick yet very crunchy and the aforementioned gravy made me want to swim in it. The owner checked on us twice and was delighted that my co-worker and I were happy. Support this place as they celebrate their 5th anniversary this weekend. It’s clean, offers great value, unique menu items and a happy vibe to accompany their excellent food.

I have ordered here twice and have very happy. Both times I have got the wings. The are big and well sauced. The Philly fries are amazing. I look forward to ordering more… a must stop

Really good food & outstanding service. The owner was so wonderful & made us feel special. Great variety of food, not just burgers. We will be back & if you’re in the area you should stop in!

One word… Delicious! My first time here and I was not disappointed. I had the Bungalow burger which is stuffed with cheddar cheese & bacon and topped with more cheddar cheese & bacon. Simply fantastic and is now in my top three burgers in the valley. The fries were equally delicious. The owner was extremely kind, personable and accommodating. This is how to run a business if you want to be successful. I cannot rate the Burger Shack more highly. Thank you for making my first time visiting your establishment a great one! I’ll most certainly be back!

Fries were the best part. Burger was meh … Not to mention one of the employees was laying down in a booth talking very loud on phone which was a bit annoying

My boyfriends said his burger was awesome he got the burger of the month. I got the gyro it was ok, was expecting a little more meat for the $ 9 price and was lacking tzatziki sauce. Overall was pretty good experience will give it another try would just try something different!

Sorry, but this place wasn’t even as good as chain restaurants. Burger had little flavor, mozzarella sticks tasted like frozen grocery store versions, milkshake tasted like straight milk, the gyro meat was store bought generic, and grilled chicken was just overrun with cumin. The cheese fries where good, but not worth the trip. You’re better off going to five guys or wayback burger.

If unique burgers are what you crave, you’re in for a treat. With past Burgers of the Month like the Pierogie Burger(burger stuffed with cheese and topped with onions and a pierogie) the Jalapeño-popper-like burger and several others, they keep me coming back often. Because of the lean meat they use(another plus) I don’t recommend getting it cooked higher than medium but that could just be my preference.

This place used to be really good. It took them 23 minutes to make me a burger for take out, after waiting for so long I just took my burger and left. Once I got home my burger was far from satisfactory. The beef patty wasn’t even big enough for the bun and I also order the shabby fries as a substitute and was not happy when I barely got any french fries.

Traveling for work and sick of eating from traditional restaurants. I wanted something different, something local, and something that seems like a hole in the wall. Burger Shack it is. This really is as good as it gets. Owned and operated by a local family. They really care about how their food looks and taste. The owner even checks up on you to see if you’re enjoying your food. She even told me «if you don’t like I i want to know so i can make it better». I found that to be impressive. I ordered a homestead burger: Fresh ground beef mixed with classic meatloaf ingredients layered with mashed potatoes, boardwalk fries, & gravy. A little messy but it was one of, if not the best burger ever. To add to my fatness i also ordered a Shack Dog: Homemade chili, cheese spread, boardwalk fries, & onion straws. No idea there were fries under the hotdog itself. Absolutely unparalleled to anything I have tried before. To top it off i threw in fries covered with cheese, bacon, and chili. It does not get any better than that. Next time I am in the area for work, there is no doubt in my mind i will return to Burger Shack first!

We’ve passed by the place many times and finally stopped by here with my wife and daughter based on other reviews. From the outside we weren’t sure what to expect. On the inside, it’s a bit like a lot of the local hot dog places in the area. A small, cramped counter space, right by the door and a bunch of small tables and a few booths to park it while you wait for the freshly made stuffed burgers. But enough on the building, on to the food. So we decided to share The Shack Burger and The Bungalow. I would highly recommend both. Both were cooked to order and came out perfectly. Each comes with fries but we opted to upgrade one of the sides to the Shack Fries and wow were they good. Not nearly enough, we wanted more. These were some of the best burgers and fries we’ve eaten. We will definitely be going back! The only gotcha is the wait time, since they are stuffed burgers, they take a little longer to prepare. But the wait wasn’t that long and there were a few other customers ahead of us.

This place used to be really good, with friendly staff. Around six or eight months ago, that changed. The food and service is now sub-par, and forget about trying to get your food delivered without it being a total mess(I always tip all drivers from any restaurant 20%, so there is no revenge owed for bad tips!). We went from ordering two or more times a month to once, and now zero. A mostly incorrect and cold sloppy delivery a few months ago was that last straw.

Great burger! Leaner and less greasy than Five Guys plus it’s nice to support a local business. The family that owns it seemed very nice. Glad to see places like this. Wish them best of luck.

After years of driving by The Burger Shack, I finally stopped to try it out for myself. I love fresh burgers and have shunned places like McDonald’s, Burger King, and Wendy’s ever since I heard how they create their«meat.» I’d always thought my best alternative in the LV for a good burger was Five Guys(if you can stand all the grease) or Emeril’s Burgers and More(mucho expensive) at the casino, but, thankfully, I was wrong. I stopped to pick up a burger for take-out. After explaining to the sweet girl behind the counter that this was my first time in, she patiently walked me through all the different types of burgers. Most of them were«stuffed» with cheese or other toppings. I opted for the Shabby burger–«fresh ground beef stuffed with mushrooms and onions, topped with The Shack BBQ Sauce and more mushrooms and onions.» I LOVED it! I ordered my burger medium well– and it was prefect– not overdone, with just a little bit of pink and plenty of juice, filled with onions and button mushrooms. The BBQ sauce was great– tangy and not too sweet. They added more grilled mushrooms and onions to the top that mixed delightfully in with the sauce. I appreciated how the take-out had the lettuce, onion, and tomato on the side, so that by the time I got it home the bun wasn’t sauce-logged. And the bun, THEBUN, why hasn’t anyone on here mentioned them? They are big, chewy, and the perfect size to hold this great burger. The fries that come with the burger(yes, you don’t have to order them separately) were terrific! Crispy with a sprinkling of what I guess is a house-mix. They give you plenty, but when you’re staring at your last fry you always wish you have more. I will absolutely be going back– and bringing friends. The only thing I might say to make this place even better is to add blue cheese as an option to the extensive list of optional cheeses. I could see adding it to the Shabby burger to put it over the moon! And pickles! But even without them, the place is great!

I just wrote a bad review of another restaurant, and so I thought the responsible thing to do would be to write some good reviews of places I like. Burger Shack has amazing friendly people working there. They always check on how you like the food, it’s clearly important to them. The burgers and fries are amazing. The hot-dogs are amazing. I had the cheese-steak and it was pretty good, just a little messy. We had their catering for a meeting in the office, bbq pork with beans, slaw, rolls. It was delicious, everyone agreed. I highly recommend for burgers in the Lehigh Valley.
