I LOVEREDCABOOSE! Everyone that works here is so friendly and this is such a unique shop in the area. I love the idea of having both coffee and the option of frozen yogurt. Two of my favorite things all in one place! It makes it really convenient if you are meeting someone here because you can have the best of both worlds if the person loves coffee or hates coffee, because either way, there is going to be something else for them to try here. Cute and fun interior décor as well.

Smiling faces when you walk in. Such a nice quite place to chat over coffee or bring the family for a yummy frozen treat! Lots of space to sit, and the rustic décor brings a warm, comfortable place for all ages.

Such a cute coffee shop! Its actually pretty spacious and very comfortable inside. The coffee is excellent. The staff is nice and friendly. Best of all they also have frozen yogurt, which sometimes i have a craving for. Definitely making this a go to place all the time now.

This place is so cool. It feel really homey and welcoming. The artwork combined with the décor works really well together. They have frozen yogurt, soup, and Stumptown coffee. With a full espresso machine, and 4 yogurt machines this place has something for everyone. They make some of their our syrups too. Come check out the big map on the wall that shows where people come from every summer, spoiler alert, it’s pretty impressive. Ha.

Picking up some coffee from my favorite coffee shop in whitefish. This place has great history for me personally and the baristas are absolutely awesome. Great place to stop, chill and read the paper!

The Caboose rocks!!! The Lattes are outstanding, the yogurts are superb! Buuuuut… Its the tone, the Genuine Montana Hospitality put out by the staff & service there which are all sooooo engaging, thoughtful, interested(& interesting). Thanks to Brandon, Michelle, Kaleb, Nathan and the rest — and the owners for keeping-it-real! Scott

This place is surprisingly large and adorable inside. Looks like someone actually made most of the awesome crafts I have seen on Pinterest and made them well. Great place to grab froyo after a long hike or a coffee when strolling through the city. My group of 6 frequented here while on a week long vacation.

They make a great cup of coffee, the ambience is nice, and the baristas are super friendly. They may not get the attention their neighbors at Montana Coffee Traders get, but they can sure hold their own.

Cons: 1. They don’t serve decaf. 2. They keep the coffee behind the counter so you have to ask for a refill. 3. They play annoying emo music. 4. The annoying music is loud. 5. Rarely serve food except soups at lunch. Pros: 1. Open late. 2. Open on Sundays. 3. Nice atmosphere inside(except for the music).

Great frozen yogurt. Lots of toppings. Friendly staff. Cool rustic décor and details. Didn’t get a chance to try the espresso, but it’s Stumptown, so it’s safe to assume it’s good. We went late in the day so the pastries had been picked over(a good sign). We’ll have to pick something up next time we’re in town.

Very cool place. I love this place very quaint cozy and a lot of character. Very friendly and fast service. I had a latte. It wasn’t anything to call home about but wasn’t bad either. I would love to go back for yogurt

This is a great place to stop by when visiting Whitefish. The atmosphere is great, the frozen yogurt is delicious, and I still have yet to try the coffee. I will make a point to stop by here every time I am in the area.

I ended up here by chance after visiting two different Montana Coffee Traders which I found out both close early on Sundays. It was a good thing! The staff was friendly, my americano was hot and well balanced, and I loved the reclaimed wood all over the place. I’ll be back the next time I’m in town!

The best of Whitefish for sure! Stumptown Coffee plus most of the baristas know how to pull legit espresso. Occasional inconsistency but the excellent customer service makes up for any rare mistake. Fireplace and Wifi with plenty of tables for computer work. Cozy couch for reading/chatting. Comfy /Welcoming Atmosphere. My personal favourite for cappuccino’s for here or ‘to-go.’

Totally agree with the reviewer Jeannie. The Red Caboose is down home friendly with attention to using the finest ingredients and coffee in everything they sell. It’s really refreshing to have a barista actually care about your cup of coffee. Same with their baked goods, yogurt and ice cream. Great place, great people and great food. I wish them continued success!

Everything about the Red Caboose is 5-stars. The owners are exceptional, the atmosphere beautiful and cozy and the yogurt & coffee nothing short of awesome. The store has a Montana feel with a fireplace & WiFi. Come for breakfast or dessert. You won’t be disappointed.

Great coffee and a beautiful restaurant. They’ve truly captured Montana, and Whitefish, in the design. There’s even a fireplace! I haven’t tried the yogurt yet, so I can only give 4 stars until I do(and if I like the yogurt). One of the key ingredients that makes a good coffee great to me is enjoying the place where I drink it. Red Caboose got it right.
