We may have caught Quickee’s at a bad time as the ownership had just changed, but only one word can capture the experience… TERRIBLE. They were out of the first three dishes we ordered. The food took forever. When we got it, it was doused in mayo, I mean smothered. I’m hoping the new owners can get this back on track, but we likely won’t be heading back anytime soon.

We stopped in for quick to go sandwiches and I was very impressed. The atmosphere is casual, good service and although we didn’t drink any, they had a decent selection of beer and wine. My wife and I both had the pulled pork sandwich with huckleberry BBQ sauce and onion rings. It was AWESOME! I saw a few other sandwiches come out while we were waiting and they looked equally good. Recommended for a casual lunch stop.

One vegetarian option = one star. The vegetarian sandwich is just a sub sandwich without the meat(bread, lettuce, banana peppers and onion). It should be something like $ 4 but they charge a lot for it.

It seems like they have changed their menu and it’s much better now. The food is really good and the fish and chips are amazing!

I’ve been going to Quckee for over 10 years, and find myself there less and less for the two classic reasons: the food isn’t that good, and it’s way too expensive. The main«Quickee» sandwich is basically a subway sub, 6″ or 12″ long. The meats, cheeses, and bread can all be better than you will find at Subway, but the sandwich is small and has very little fillings. The fillings they do put in mostly fall out when you try to bite into the sandwich, and the bread usually falls apart at the heel. Today my wife and I split a foot-long, an order of sweet potato fries and a beer, and it cost $ 21.95 plus tip! The fries were even burnt as well. Back in the day you could get a foot-long for $ 5, and they would pile on the fillings. They would even give you a dollar off if you wanted it vegetarian. Today they charge you full price for the veggie, and add nothing of interest to it. I’m sad to have to write a negative review, but they have been sliding for so long, and the last five meals I’ve had there were expensive, and completely disappointing. Its a nice place, and always really nice people, but there is no value there anymore. I won’t be going back.

Bad experience with getting the wrong sandwich made, doubled the wait time and it was a little salami & Swiss cheese very little with a dill spear on the side. Over priced«samich!» I don’t see a need to return.

Had the large elk burger and fries. It was okay… But not worth $ 17… Especially given that it’s a pretty chill environment – not fancy at all… The fries were better than the burger, though.

Good Beer, Stick to sandwiches… We happened upon this place accidentally and should have known something was up when we walked in during the dinner hour and the place was dead. But, undeterred we sat down to peruse the menu. Liked that they acknowledged they supported local vendors in their kitchen and did offer gluten free and vegan options if you’re into that sort of thing. I had the macaroni and cheese quite frankly, was disgusted. It was barely warm and tasted burned. It was overloaded with bread crumbs and shredded cheese that wasn’t melted due to its lack of cooking. Disappointing. My husband had the spinach salad with seared tuna. The tuna steak was overloaded with spices and blackened beyond recognition. Overall, we were disappointed with their dinner menu but the walls of the restaurant boasted numerous awards for best sandwich in Whitefish.(I think 8 years in a row) Staff was friendly and service was prompt but unfortunately the dinner was not worth the 33.00 including 2 beers.

UpDate: It is a hot summer day and time for lunch. A friend suggested Quickees and I was all over it remembering I had a free sandwich there.(Having a couple weeks before messing up my order.) When I placed the sandwich order, I explained who I was and the lady asked me if this was my last name and she stated she was going to take of it. Take care of it she did. My sandwich was Awesome and again, I truly appreciate the customer service. 8÷6÷13

My favorite place in whitefish. I must stop by every time I’m in town. It’s a little pricy but well worth it to me. The cheese steak and other sandwiches are excellent, as are the sweet potato fries. I crave this place year round since I don’t live in whitefish!

Quickee brings yet another fantastic lunch choice to the otherwise food desert of Whitefish. I assume most folks rolling into this resort town for a number of days will head to the local grocery store, stock up, and bundle themselves up at home, cooking most meals for themselves. When you run out of turkey(as we did – no one in our circle likes ham) or simply cannot bear to bite into yet another lunch of a wheat bread sandwich topped with lettuce and tomato, quickly head to the Quickee. Heck, the folks in the kitchen also crank out some pretty unique pub fare, though we dropped in to get our sandwich fix. Soccer matches abound here, as this institution seems to cater to much of the non-American crowd, and they offer a good craft beer selection to magnify the experience. Though the large subs run $ 10 a pop, making your meal $ 15 with chips and beverage, I still say that they crank out a mighty good product. The Philly comes chock full of peppers, onions, and beef. Additionally, they afford the gluten-free patrons a non-gluten bread. This shop moved from its previous location, but Quickee still brings a classic deli and pub into the downtown sector of Whitefish, a smidgen on the outskirts, and they definitely have something for all types of diners. Except maybe peanut butter and jelly.

Stopped in for a late lunch and had a Muffaletta. I was the only one there so the service was great and my sandwich was excellent. They have a good vibe in this place — log cabin meets the UK.

Not bad, but not great either. The Elk burger was tasty, but the fries were soggy and cold. My husband had the fish & chips, which again were just ok. Being from Nashville, it’s hard to beat the fish & chips from Dan McGuiness!

The way Quickee grills its meat before putting it on their sandwiches puts them over the top. The sandwich is served with a pile of fresh vegetables. Makes for a delicious, quick, guilt-free meal. I ordered the roast beef and turkey. I am getting hungry just thinking about it.

Not quick. Not cheap. Spent $ 25 on a sandwich and a salad only. Ok but not worth it. Also very slow service.

Great food and friendly service. The risotto is very good. If you order the enchilada be warned, it is the size of a newborn calf.

Who wouldn’t love this place? With fresh tasty food, great menu and the service is really wonderful. For a quick sandwich for lunch or a tasty dinner, Quickee is convenient, to eat in or take out. Make sure if you are visiting Whitefish you put this on your list of places to try. If you live here put their phone number in your phone and call ahead for the special of the day or your favourite food for fast pick up. The five stars are right for this business, try them soon, you’ll be glad you did!
