La Piazza is a cute little café that opened at the end of the summer in a great location on Main St. I gave it a try one night for dinner with my dad, although it is definitely more well-suited for lunch. We each had a panini — mine had shrimp and arugula, and my dad’s had chicken and pesto. Both were tasty and well-portioned with a delicious side salad and fries, and reasonably priced(most menu items are around $ 10). Since the menu is more lunch-oriented — mostly paninis, salads, and pizza — the waiter generously offered other dinner items if we were interested. I have no doubt in the talent of the chefs, since the restaurant is owned by the same people as La Boca, a more high-end Italian restaurant right around the corner. I think with a little word of mouth, this restaurant could be great — it’s definitely a hidden gem with room to grow. I would love to come back especially in warm weather to enjoy the outdoor seating and gelato!
