Esposito’s Ristorante & Pizzeria

We did not want to offend the owner, but this place was terrible. He had no patience to stop and talk to us and cut us off as we ordered or asked questions.
Everything bland, over cooked, or under cooked without flavor. (I guess it’s better than adding too much salt). Our salad, clams, tilapia, and pasta cost $ 65. Excessive for bad quality. Oh well, lesson learned. Do not eat here…
Maybe the pizza is better, but I will not be back to chance it.

It seemed like the owner did not want to be bothered by us and what we wanted to order. Over priced bland food. Pasta had water in it (poorly drained). Cheese over dose did not do the trick.
We did not want to offend the owner so I asked him to wrap the food to go as not to hurt any feelings. Even how he wrapped the food to go was crap! Atrocious. Do not eat here, go to 16handles next door instead. Ha! At least the service is better and food quality too. Yikes.

If you’re sitting on the rooftop on a nice day, expect the WORST service ever. Forgot my soda, the 2 people I were with got their food 20 minutes after I did, and it took 25 minutes to get the check. SO disorganized.

Didn’t eat here but was walking by on the sidewalk when I see an young male employee yelling at an exiting customer:
«Get out of here you old F***ing Hag, go back to Valhalla!»
Like I said, didn’t eat there, and probably never will with service like that!

Real simple; slow delivery and the food is hot or miss. The delivery is over an hour and food arrives cold. We live across the street!
Update: they have gotten so much better with delivery !

Warm and inviting Italian restaurant where you can enjoy great quality meals with a glass of great wine. This store front has lots of windows where you can sit and enjoy the buzz of the city especially when the sun is setting as it’s a great view. You need to park on the street so make sure you give yourself time to find a spot if you come during a busy time of the day.
I ate here with a large group, everyone loved every dish and would definitely be back. I personally had the home made Gnocchi which was pretty good but next time I will try different dishes.

This is a special thank you to the wonderful staff who made our Valentine’s Day so wonderful and special. We went last night and were treated like royalty and served a meal fit for a King!
The upstairs dining room was simple but elegant and dining by candle light was so romantic. The food was explained to us and each and every dish had a wonderful, delicate taste.
The portions are tremendous and we appreciated the perfectly timed courses. There is nothing worse than getting more food when you’re not ready for it.
All of the staff was attentive and polite and showed personal attention to each and every guest.
The evening was topped off by a very nice Valentine’s Day gift to my wife from our server.
We will most definitely return and bring others to this true gem of a restaurant that cares about its quality of food and its customers!

I really like this place for a quick lunch. They have great lunch specials. They also deliver food really quickly and the food is always good. I wish they opened up their upstairs doing more often.

I love their Esposito’s! Their chicken soup is wonderful! I order it all of the time!
The staff is super friendly. I love to frequent this place!

Live across the street and they consistently have good pizza, pasta and paninis! Especially good for takeout.

Ok so I usually order delivery from here. Food is descent. My kids like the white pizza. But I have a real problem with being lied to. And that’s exactly what happened. I ordered two pizzas. I was told a delivery time and 25 mins after it should have arrived I called the restaurant to question the orders status. I was promptly told «its on its way». Well 15 mins later. No pizza. Mind you I live an 8 min walk from the restaurant! Eight Min WALK! Clearly the delivery was not on its way and I was basically being shut up.
I understand things happen, but I cannot tolerate being lied to. This is poor business and a disgrace. I will not order from a place that is so disrespectful.
Two hours still no pizza And had to make dinner for my kids because the pizza never arrived in time for them to eat before bed…
Two hours late and the delivery driver says «ya well we were really busy» give me a break. Then I check the order and it’s WRONG!!! Ordered a large extra cheese, onions and mushrooms. Got cheese. Is this a joke???

I was asked to come here for my birthday dinner. So glad to sit on top at rooftop. When I was trying to back into the back parking lot the delivery boy decided to cut me off. A+ to him! We sat down and order appetizers that were decent. We were not asked for our dinner order until about 45 minutes later. My dinner was cold and I was so discouraged with the service I didn’t even care to get something else or to complain. I believe that with having your main kitchen down stairs doesn’t allow for good service. If I knew my meal was going to look like it looked, I would have never ordered it. It is apparently a house special. It was the grilled shrimp Esposito dish. (Which is a joke) when the table was putting in the order the same waitress forgot to ask me what my order was. If you had half decent service and hot food I would not have bothered writing this. But it is a shame to call this a ristorante stick with the pizza business !
Ps I had to get my own pepper shaker and parmesan cheese even after asking for them!

They forgot dessert with our delivery, so already starting off bad! Food was nicely warm except the mozzarella sticks. Mozzarella sticks were cold & rubbery — would never order those again– ever. Chicken cutlet parm was good. Veal saltimbocca was just ok — the veal pieces were thick — they do not pound their veal thin, I had two bites that were so tough I had to spit them out. I wouldn’t spend the extra $ 1 on the potato croquettes as they weren’t anything great. Would we order from here again? Likely not since there are so many better Italian places in WP. And seriously, how do you forget dessert!

Take away slices were pretty good! They were larger than I expected and very tasty. Like the size of the slices, the price was a little bit more than I expected, but it was well worth it. If you’re in the White Pains area, I’d definitely give them a try.

Pizza is not very good. The sauce is bitter and tastes way too much like plain tomato paste. The décor is very nice and the wait staff is very nice. It really is too bad that the food isn’t very good because everything else is so nice.

We enjoyed our dinner at Esposito’s. We love very close and always noticed their upstairs, outdoor dining area that always looked so cute lit up in the summer. So, on a warm Friday night we decided to check it out.
The outdoor area is really cute — the tables are plastic and no tablecloths, but you have to consider you’re essentially at a pizzeria. Not enough of a wine list that we’d buy a bottle, but a decent cabernet by the glass.
We had an appetizer on the specials menu — artichoke hearts francese. Never had anything like it — delicious!
For entrees, I had the sausage and broccoli rabe over whole wheat penne, which was very simple but very good. Sliced sausage instead of crumbled which I really liked. My boyfriend had the puttanesca, also good. Not fresh pasta but again –if that’s what you’re looking for, there are plenty of places for that!
Overall, we enjoyed our meal and the outdoor seating was definitely a big part of it. It’s great for a quick, reasonable pasta dinner, and we’ll definitely be back for take out or when the weather is nice again.

Ordered here for dinner tonight since it was storming. The Pizza and Salad were great. The delivery man was great too.

I’ve only had the wraps but they have all been good. The staff is super friendly! Walk here for take out quite often and would recommend!

Ordered delivery. The food was mediocre, took forever to get the whole .5mi to my address, and was freezing cold by the time it got here.

Went here for dinner with 8 people. We wanted to sit outside and were quickly set up and told the specials. Tony was very helpful and attentive!
We got two pitchers of sangria white and red. I enjoyed the white much better but the red was also very good.
We ordered two family size Cesar salads for the table which was the perfect amount and also delicious. And also a Grandma’s Pie and an Plain Pie. Both pies were amazing! Just the right amount of sauce and cheese.
For 8 people it was $ 21 each with tip and we all left full and very happy!
I would come back and would recommend.
