Had appt today to design my wedding centerpieces. When we arrived the employee stated he’ll be back in 5 to assist u. 40 minutes later the owner never showed. I guess he feels his time is more precious than ours! He only took over 6 months ago and at this rate he will be closing very soon! So unprofessional! In this economy u think businesses would be jumping through hoops for a large sale! We will be taking our business elsewhere and will not be recommending this shop to anyone in the area. So unprofessional!

I found bloom floral design to be a delightful little shop with AMAZING windows and a variety of plants, flowers, and other little items– such as handmade cards (which I love because they are much more personal) and candles. I wanted a small bouquet for a friend’s dinner party, and Janet and Corey were extremely helpful! After discussing with them my friends party, Corey whipped up an amazing arrangement that was both modern and elegant that really wowed my friend! The piece was definitely on par with upscale Manhattan florist, but their prices were much more reasonable. Corey the owner recently took over Bloom Floral Design in July of 2013 so any bad reviews about the shop prior to that is a reflection of the previous owner. I think Bloom is truly a place for floral design now and I would highly recommend it– and oh, don’t get what’s in the display case, tell them exactly what you want and they’ll make it for you.

Ordered an arrangement online to be delivered to my wife for Valentine’s Day. The arrangement arrived on time but the bouquet was smaller, had fewer flowers and less variety of flowers than the arrangement shown online… and I paid extra for a ‘deluxe size’. All in I spent close to $ 150 for an arrangement that was maybe worth $ 60. I reached out to them and received no response. Buyer beware.
Update:
After seeing my review the florist sent my wife a second bouquet. It’s unfortunately that my wife is currently working away from her office and is not able to enjoy them but I appreciate the effort… I only wish they had responded to my initial complaint.
