Our favorite spot for lunch! Their food is tops and the service is second to none. Great specials allow you to sample a lot of their menu items at a reasonable price. Everything is made fresh from the guacamole to the tortilla chips. Try the shrimpolte burrito, it’s incredible!

This review rating is based only on quality of the food: 1^st I would like to say that the server was nice, and when I called with my concern, he attempted to make it right by offering another dish, but I decided not to return; I believed other dishes would be equally unsatisfying.
I tried this restaurant for the 1^st time, not the food grilled steak and onions, & it was NOT GOOD.
Steak — VERY CHEWY & NO FLAVOR or SEASONING to it
Rice — not so flavorful either

The whole point in my going to an ethnic restaurant is to enjoy the flavorful foods, and this food was so incredibly bland. I was really disappointed, but I think they are catering to their market (Harford County) and a particular pallet. Management really needs to get with the chef and review the food and see if there is a way to cook the steak so it is more tender — I’ve had this before and it is possible. Also really taste the food and ask if this is seasoned well, does it taste good? Better yet, ask is this how I would prepare the food for my family? Myself I want the real deal, not the «Americanized-​hispanic» version

I really really enjoy Taco Love. The service is truly outstanding. Our waiter was so upbeat and friendly, and made us laugh. He also brought out two big samples of the Horchata and Tamarindo (two different drinks) for us simple because I asked how he would describe the Tamarindo. Another woman, possibly the owner, came out during our meal and asked how everything was.
The portions are large for the money you spend. I spent $ 10 on 3 big tacos that were absolutely FILLED with steak, cheese, lettuce, cilantro, etc. I also like how customizable the toppings are — you can opt for traditional (which is just cilantro + onion) or American style. I went with both, and it was delicious. My boyfriend got the shrimpotle burrito, and it was also amazing. The chipotle mayo they used on it was great.
Overall, this place is a gem, and I urge you to support their business! They won’t disappoint.

NEARLY a five star! Very much enjoyed the food that my gal and I ordered, with her getting the hominy soup and the chile relleno made with chorizo, and me opting for the bean soup and the steak and chicken fajitas– boring choice, I know! I liked both of her choices over mine, though I prefer a chunkier form of chorizo. I enjoyed the steak part of the fajitas, but found the chicken a bit dry and boring. Was also a tad disappointed in the relatively skimpy cold accompaniments for the fajitas, particularly the sour cream, which was a vast contrast to the heaps of meat and sautéed veggies on the steaming iron.
Service was downright excellent, with the gentleman serving us being notably polite and efficient. Prices were pretty good as well, with some real bargains to be found on the menu. It was good to see they had a steady pace of both sit-​in and carry-​out patrons despite it being mid-​afternoon on a Saturday. We’ll be back!

This place is awesome. I’m a creature of habit so I almost always order the guac and 3 tacos– pork with bacon, chicken with bacon and marinated pork on soft corn tortilla with all the topping except sour cream. I have had their mole enchiladas and a few other items and everything is always A++++++++. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is small but nice and clean. BYOB.

This place is delicious! I walked in, ordered my lunch and it was packed to go for me within 5 — 7 minutes! I ordered 3 tacos, crispy shell, lettuce tomato cheese and guac on top. Their guacamole is AMAZING! These tacos were stuffed to the max. So much so that there was enough on the bottom of the container that had fallen out to make a fourth taco! Hidden gem for sure! Can’t wait to come back and bring co-​workers!

This was a fun place to try out. The service was friendly, fast, and helpful. We enjoyed the portions and taste of our food! The price you pay for the portions is very reasonable. If it were closer to home, I know I’d be around a lot more.

This taco joint has some seriously good grub. I eat here more than I’d like to admit. The lunch specials are very reasonable and bring down the prices equivalent to chain restaurants that provide a lesser product (Chipotle, Qdoba, etc). As for the full menu, you really can’t go wrong with anything. My guilty pleasure is the Carne Asada fries with Guacamole. It’s high calorie heaven. You’ll find everything you expect: Chile Relleno, Enchiladas, Burritos, Tacos, etc. You may not expect to find good mexican food in a small strip mall on Philly rd, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
This restaurant has a nontraditional vibe, but somehow keeps all the authentic soul of a good Mexican restaurant. Whether you’re taking out or dining in, I recommend you stop by the Honeygo Square Shopping Mall.

Best way to describe this place is WOW. So fresh, so authentic, so flavorful and filling. The customer service was superb. I will certainly be back! There is nothing like this in the 21 236 or 21 162 area.

The food and wait staff was awesome. I met a friend there on Taco Tuesday. I ordered soft shell beef, fish and shrimp. The flavors were excellent!

I went to this place solely based on previous Unilocal reviews. I am not disappointed. This is by far the best Mexican food on the East Coast! All the food is fresh, flavorful and made with love. The staff were so pleasant and knowledgeable. The tacos were heavenly delicious. I highly recommend this to everyone who appreciates authentic Mexican cuisine.

Taco Love is a great little hole in the wall! I have now been there 3 times and the food was awesome every time! The only downside is that they don’t serve booze, but they allow BYOB and there is a liquor store in the same shopping center!

My new favorite place in white marsh (up there with Arigato and Mission). The waiter was really friendly, like really seemed to GAF whether we liked our food, which is rare. We started with the guacamole. Very fresh and flavorful. My husband was not thrilled that it had tomatoes in it, but he’s a moron who doesn’t like tomatoes (this review was written in August; they are in season!). I ordered the three tacos, shrimp, chicken, and marinated pork. They are huge. Lots of fresh toppings and big potions of meat. And these people know how to grill meat. The shrimp is usually over cooked in Mexican restaurants; not so here! Very juicy. The marinated pork was out of this world (sorry, did not have room for the chicken). I believe the three tacos are under ten dollars. Also, they deliver through eat 24, so, if you end up at Taco Bell, it’s your own damn fault!

Good food for good prices. The daily specials are for the win… Tacos on Tuesday (2.50 each), quesadillas on Wednesday day (7.00), and burritos on Thursday.
The food is good, the salsa is just spicy enough to burn your tongue but be good. The service is very friendly and quick.
All-​in-​all, I would recommend this to somebody, for sure.
The only drawback is no delivery, but it’s a pretty easy to get to location, depending on where you are coming from.

Small, off the beaten path joint, but oh so delicious Mexican food. I’m in awe that the have tortas on the menu. Those yummy sandwiches are hard to find. I highly recommend the carne asada fries, anything with chorizo, and the tres leches. Check out their website for daily specials like TACO TUESDAY!

Regardless of how not hungry you think you are, if you stop here I guarantee you will feel the Taco Love! Crispy chips, a salsa sampler and a delicious glass of cinnamon-​spiked horchata — yes, please. Spicy beef and tender fish tacos, so stuffed with toppings the shells would barely close: lettuce, cheese, crema, pico, cilantro and more salsa, with fluffy rice and plump pintos on the side? Uh-​huh. Try the tortilla soup, which is out of this world: savory chicken broth with fresh avocado and rich crema. Then end with a perfect flan, smooth and creamy with a little burned-​sugar kick at the back end.
The interior is tiny, bright and clean with vibrant colors everywhere, and our server was an absolute gem — friendly, professional and helpful. They are a BYOB establishment, and next time we come back we will definitely bring some cold cervezas to enjoy with our tacos — although the rest of the menu looked pretty tempting too. Can’t wait to return!

Wow. If you’re doing the DC to NY drive and looking for some great food that’s not at a rest area, this is the place. About 10 min from the highway.
Had the tacos. All awesome. The salsa rocks. Our family also had the fajita quesadilla, lentil soup and some fried plantains. All good. But tacos are the best. The pescada taco was amazing.

They’re tacos are great especially the «Pastor» (marinated pork w/​pineapple).
I recommend because they have good food and its a local business.

This place really does it right! I took my 4 year old son here for his birthday. He loves tacos. Anyway, we ended up ordering a child’s burrito (large enough for an adult to be honest) and I had a taco salad. Holy cow this place was great!!! My son kept thanking me the entire meal for bringing him there. When the waitress came over to check on us my son said he wanted to thank everyone for his yummy taco. The waitress took time out of her day to walk him to the back so he could thank the chef. Shortly after the cook walked out with brown sugar tacos for my child. He talked about it all day!!! He kept saying «remember the boy who gave me the snack? Let’s go again». It was a delightful experience!
On a different note I do think they are a tiny bit overpriced. Chips and guacamole cost $ 6.99. But the food is amazing and it’s a treasure! We WILL definitely be back!

We were super excited to try this place because of all the great reviews about this «hidden gem.» Upon coming in, we weren’t greeted with hello or any waters, just took a seat. When the waitress came over, she cleaned the dirty table, and handed us menus, still no water.
We finally had the opportunity to order. Food and water. I got fajitas, but that didn’t come with cheese or sour cream, American staples to fajitas in my book. So I ordered it extra– a bit of steep price for fajitas for 15.99 compared to other Mexican places I’ve been. Hubby ordered a shrimp burrito.
It took a long time to get our food, and once it came, it was decent. My fajitas were okay. The flavor in the chicken (lots of small pieces) and lots and lots of veggies was good, grilled and seasoned well. They brought me three mini sized tortillas for all that stuffing… And that didn’t cut it. Then, they charged extra for two more tortillas. Eh. Hubs shrimp burrito had great flavor, but the shrimp in the shrimp burrito were not there enough. The yum yum sauce or whatever on it made up for it, but not an excuse. And it was pretty small. Pretty good flavors here, but kind of skimpy on meat overall.
Then I found little pieces of things floating in my water, and I was disgusted. We won’t be returning anytime soon. I’m disappointed because of all of the great reviews.
