I love coming here! They have a great selection of perennials. I used to do a lot of annual gardening, but quickly changed to perennials. They carry a lot of herbs, vegetable plants, hanging plants and of course annuals. I receive a bi-annual newsletter. Bogie Lake offers free classes with usually a certain percentage off your materials. The prices here are very reasonable, as well.

It’s a really nice place. For a greenhouse, they manage to create a pleasant shopping experience(i.e. not too hot). The topiaries are so cool, but I wish they would have more topiary supplies and plants to make your own topiaries. Also, they need better signs. I was confused walking around where things were. And I was really frustrated when picking up plants that the trays were still stuck together. In order to get a single plant, you have to crack it out of the tray. I was worried about messing up the other plants because the perforation was really tight. They had lots of high schoolers working there. Why not have some of them go around and unstick the plants?

Always a large selection to pick from. I am stopping in here a few times every planting season.

Best selection in the area, I can always find something interesting here that nobody else has. Staff is friendly & helpful. This is always our first stop before trying anywhere else.

My wife and I go here to get our unique perennial plant(s) each summer, the selection is tremendous. The staff is very knowledgeable about their stock, which is hard to get at the Big Box stores.

OMG! I have NEVEREVER seen such HUGE and stunning premade hanging baskets. I swear these plants are on steroids. I always preach make your own hanging baskets, but when I saw these I was ah-mazed. Blows English Gardens, Bordines, anywhere really, right out of the water. It took me hours last year staring at all the unique and ginormous baskets. They have plants indoors here and outdoors. They have their annuals and perennials separated. They also have a good selection of aquatic plants. They also do succulent arraignments which are über cool and very nice toparies. I know it is in the middle of nowhere, but if you are going to check out Root, drive 2 – 3 lights down and stop here!

Went here yesterday looking for a new fruit tree with the BF after no success at Deneweth’s. This was our 2nd visit, my first time was last year. It’s definitely a large place with a large selection of plants, but a good portion(maybe 20−25% at minimum) on display don’t look all too healthy or inviting for purchase. I found this to be the case last year too. These should probably be removed and put on a clearance rack/section with haste. They had some interesting selections, but it was nothing like the allotment carried by Deneweth’s in Hartland in terms of plant health. They did have some awesome ‘dinner plate’ dahlias and not really many trees, fruit or otherwise, that we could see. Ended up at Lowe’s and got a nectarine tree at 25% off.

Large operation and selection for the area. Several interconnected greenhouses. Good hanging and large plant selection very busy for all holidays. Conveniently located across from Lakeland H.S. Limited gravel parking.
