Takes at least 45 minutes to get your food even when they aren’t busy and if you come when they are busy you can guarantee your food will be cold as well. Worst Cracker Barrel in the state.

I once thought highly of Cracker Barrel. Until I started eating at the White House location. The service is rarely acceptable. The food is mediocre at best. What happened to this place? I’m guessing this location needs better management.

I absolutely love the Cracker Barrel at White House, TN! They have plenty of parking, huge dining area, not-so-crowded store spacing, and the staff is very professional! I’ve been to plenty of CB stores across the south but love the experience mostly at White House. The food is always fresh and correct! I’d recommend them to anyone!

I now remember why I don’t frequent this restaurant often. Went there for breakfast, place was not very busy so no excuse for lack of service. I ordered over medium eggs, no big request. I received runny eggs that were no where near done but because the waitress disappeared, I ate around the more runny parts and when she finally showed up with the check, I mentioned the undercooked eggs and her response was, sorry, not, would you like some more as I can see they were barely touched? Nope. Too many places for a quick breakfast, better prices and much better service. Also, walking through a store to get to the eating area has always put me off. review helps others learn about great local businesses. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. The food is good but not as good as it used to be at any cracker barrel.

Any Cracker Barrel you go to is going to have amazing food. Who doesn’t love country cooking. This Cracker Barrel however has ABSOLUTELYHORRIBLEMANAGEMENT. For the most part the staff is friendly and helpful but if you have to deal with the kitchen manager Jake you may as well just leave. Not only does he look and act as though he popped one too many pills each time I see him but he also is extremely rude and unwilling to help. Typically we are pleased but the few times our order has been wrong I have had the unfortunate task of dealing with Jake the kitchen manager and each time he has not impressed me.

Repeatedly get to-go orders wrong, even when placed during off-peak hours, and even if I check the bag while I’m there and ask them to correct their mistake, my food is cold by the time they bring out the missing item(s). While dining in, I received a «well done» bacon cheeseburger that was so pink in the middle, I couldn’t stomach eating it. I still get sick to my stomach thinking about it… And today, I tried to call in a to-go order, and I was placed on hold for 12 minutes. I finally hung up, thinking they’d forgotten about me. I’ve waited a couple minutes and called back, but their line is busy since their phone is now off the hook. I’ll be going to another Cracker Barrel from now on. Very disappointing. :/

Cracker Barrel use to be a great place to eat but the last 4 or 5 times I’ve been here for breakfast I have received such a small portion of eggs I could pick the entire portion up with a single spoon this was supposed to be 2 eggs and unless they are using quail eggs they are cutting corners way to much for what they charge.

Stopping at a Cracker Barrel has become my family’s traditional stop whenever we travel. So we stopped for lunch. We didn’t have to wait for a table which shocked me because I’m convinced they force you to wait so you shop in the gift store. The catfish was wonderfully cooked and tender. One of my better visits to a Cracker Barrel.

Megan is Fantastic manager! It was a busy Sunday and our food took a while to come out. Our server Schuyler was very attentive and they handled the situation beautifully! Awesome experience and great food!

Just wanted to give a thumbs up for DAWN ! …I love to shop at Cracker Barrel and usually spend a good bit of time walking around taking in the new displays. Dawn has always been such a pleasant person to help me with my shopping needs. Ive been in other locations in state and out.. i must say i have never come across any employee like her. Hope she stays around. . I need her !

I LOVE Cracker Barrels in general. This location was okay when it first opened a few years ago, but the service and food is pretty bad lately. The Rivergate location and the Music Valley Drive locations are so much better. I recommend the Riverate Cracker Barrel as this is a well established location with great food and service.

This is one of those places that is loaded with comfort food. nothing here is very good for you. but that isn’t why you stopped. We made it to the barrel a few weeks ago while on the road. it was good, what you would expect. If you are hungry, stop by — they are nice, happy and the joint is clean. thank you!

Cracker Barrel is always a good choice. My entire family loves it. We always see our friends there and the servers are very friendly. Its just like country home cooking should be!

What happens when you you put a faux country gift shop/restaurant near a busy highway and you add rocking chairs on the front«porch»? You get mediocre comfort food and service in a large noisy room with a less than clean floor. Surprising thing is I have never been to one that wasn’t crowded. Go figure. This one in White House was no exception. So why did I go? It was conveniently located and I was hungry.
