This place was great! The waitress was very friendly and the chefs greeted us as we walked in. The food was affordable – I was able to get a 6 pc spicy salmon roll and an 8 pc crunchy spicy tuna roll for $ 12. The fish was fresh and the rolls were well-made. The combination of ingredients was well-balanced; good amount of fish with avocado, cucumbers, and spicy mayo. I’ll definitely be coming here more often considering the amount of good food I get for the price.

First timer. Had the house salad and 2 rolls… spicy tuna & tempura shrimp roll. Total check was $ 13.85. Both rolls were pretty good, but the salad wasn’t that great… even if iceberg with ginger dressing being pretty blasé to begin with. I’ll be back though since I have clients in the area.

Cozy and warm atmosphere. Lovely service. Magnificent sushi. There’s something for everyone. Fantastic prices too. We’re glad we tried it! We had the asparagus beef roll, the Hot Wheeling roll and the spicy tuna deluxe. Now, when we feel like sushi we know exactly where to go. You will love it!

Was gravitated towards the sushi combo because it came with a soup, and ice cream. But my veggie roll was so tiny, and flavorless. Rice and seaweed of the sushi was fine, but with only cucumber inside, meh. I was still hungry afterwards(ended up going to another Japanese restaurant to eat). This restaurant was located in a desolated strip mall. When I walked inside, I was the ONLY person dining there on a Friday night. I decided to do takeout. it definitely had a wait, even though the only thing they had to make was my cucumber roll. Everyone was sitting around bored and was excited a customer showed up. The prices were not bad considering it’s Japanese cuisine. This place lacked serious energy.

Delicious! great quality and amazing price. I’ve eaten there(polite, quick, non-hovering service) and gotten take out several times. Love their salmon skin roll. Crispy skin! which is so hard to find sometimes. They don’t use too much sauce on top of their rolls so they’re very clean and fresh tasting. You can easily get like 5 basic rolls for about $ 25 or so and some of the specialty rolls are great too. Next up will probably be some of the party trays for wine night!

Since new ownership I’m a bigger fan of this place. The prices have went down a little so you really get your money’s worth and the quality hasn’t decreased but as a matter of fact I think the quality has gotten a tad better as the fish is always fresh and super tasty. The place inside is the same so I wish they did some minor improvements since it is technically under new ownership and needs that new to it feel. But they did make a new website which is nice since it has a picture of all the different party trays. We ordered one from them for New Years and it was delicious, they even let us sub two rolls that I didn’t care for for something we actually like so that is service I can count on. I can’t wait to come back here to just dine in with my family as I plan on being a regular here since im already a regular for carry out. The girls taking your order seem very nice and the man doing the sushi rolling who im assuming is the chef, is very pleasant too. If you’re in the area and you want good quality sushi at prices that won’t break the bank, do yourself a favor and stop here and let me tell you I’m picky and this place does it right every single time. You won’t find me at all you can eat sushi joints as I really want quality and this place has quality I can count on. I hope they stay in business for my own personal sushi needs!

Selection of rolls has good cautery and some novelty. Prices are very reasonable. My fish tasted good. The staff was very friendly and food was ready quickly. I will definitely eat here again soon.

Super fresh sushi, menu has plenty of options. We tried the sushi Deluxe and a soup, loved everything and service was great as well! Place is not huge but can accomodate small groups. Nice people as well, we will be back

We ate lunch here on a weekday. Small and cozy, it doesn’t look too different than any other small sushi place. The waitstaff seemed friendly, nothing too over the top, just pleasant. The prices are reasonable for lunch. We ordered the sushi lunch special that includes 6 pieces of spicy salmon roll and 9 various chefs-choice sushi. The amount of food was just right, the 10.99 price was just right, the tea was good and … Just right. To sum it up, Sushi Gallery is, well, just right for a hungry, sushi-craving individual. Will be back!

Excellent price for nice rolls. I ate like a queen with my family for $ 75 including tip, which normally costs me $ 90 at other places.

Love love love the sushi!!! I havent actually been into the restaurant so i can’t really comment on that but my husband and i do order out from here A LOT(atleast a couple times a month). The sushi is always fresh and delicious!!! I love the variety of rolls offered. Everytime we call, the person/people that answer are always polite and provide excellent customer service. This is definitely our go to spot for sushi in Wheeling!!!

My first impression coming into this restaurant was i should leave and go elsewhere. There was no one in the restaurant besides me. To my my better judgment I stayed for dinner. the food was good, service was a little weak. My biggest issue is that today I have stomach cramps and diarrhea which i contribute to food poisoning. Maybe its just a coincidence i get food poisoning after eating at sushi gallery but i think not …

This place is adorable! Comfortably tucked away amongst a variety of Russian businesses in an almost entirely Russian plaza the server was extremely attentive and immediately brought me complimentary hot green tea for this windy, cold day. I opted not to get one of the lunch specials and went with a «Wonderfull» roll and a house salad. HOUSESALAD a bit too much vinegar in their ginger dressing, but fresh, zesty and crisp. And I love the spaghetti shaved carrots WONDERFULLROLL Shrimp, avocado, cucumber with seared spicy scallop, crunch, massage and eel sauce on top. Cleared My sinuses, but I don’t have a great spice tolerance. Still like it though. Seriously wonderful roll. Wonderrific even. Great lunch spot. Quiet, quaint and… quonderful.

We’ve picked up from here 5 – 6 times and this is our go-to sushi take out. The price is awesome and the food is great. When it comes to sushi, it’s all about the rice, and their rice is good. It’s really not too busy, but my guess would be mostly because of location because the food is great

Excellent food. Excellent service. Had a fantastic dinner with childhood friends who were in town for the weekend. I took my chances with Sushi Gallery, and they did not disappoint.

Great sushi, great price, quick and easy pickup. I can call in and it is ready in about 20 minutes. You can get a 6-maki combo for like $ 15 which is unheard of compared to most sushi places around here. The lunch specials are also good, and saves you a few bucks. The party platters on a nice big tray and great presentation.

Love the chicken teriyaki bento! It was incredible! You get one roll of shrimp tempura, salad, soup and edamame, and of course the chicken teriyaki! This is the best lunch special for a decent price! I def will order this again!

The place changed management in December 2014. I’ve had the Sashimi bento box one visit and thought it was just enough food for $ 12.00. Good value and the fish was fresh and tasted clean and fresh. On the second visit, I had the medium Sashimi($ 15.00) and two rolls, Dragon and Eel($ 13.00 and $ 5.00, respectively). Again clean and fresh and just enough food for the price. The servers are attentive and friendly. The service was very good. They do ask what type of fish I enjoy eating and I really enjoyed coming here. I will have to go back and see if they can sustain the quality and price.
