I’ve been to this Gamestop twice. I usually hate coming to Gamestop because I swear they can smell the fact that I don’t belong there, but I really don’t mind this one at all. The first time I was with my husband and I kind of just stood in the corner while he browsed. We needed a new controller for our PS3 since ours wasn’t holding a charge. The guy working the counter told us which one to get when we admitted we didn’t want to pay $ 60 for the official Playstation one. He also told us to try using an Android charger to make sure it’s not just the charger that’s bad. Fast forward to this week. I bought the birthday boy a PS4 and realized that I can’t really give him a new console without some games. I was really impressed that they have a huge selection of next generation used games. I really thought I’d have to pay full-price for one game, but I was able to get 3 used games for $ 20 each. They also have a 7-day return policy on used games, so if I didn’t pick ones that he likes, he’ll be able to bring them back and exchange them for something else. It was a different guy working the counter this time but he was equally as awesome. He answered all of my idiotic questions without talking down to me. I wouldn’t hesitate to come to this Gamestop again because they’re very customer service oriented and have a big selection of used games.

This store is pretty small, but it has a good selection of used games. There are other gamestops near my house with better hours and a larger selection, but this one will satisfy if its closest.

I must say being a wife of a gamer and a mom to one when I go in there to buy presents for them and I have no clue what I am talking about the employees know everything about games. Very informative, I had someone answer my question with a 45 minute answer but I received all the right information.

Shopping in this GameStop feels a bit like you’re shopping in a closet. It is very, very small. However, it’s a great location to stop in when you’re in Wheaton and you need a video game fix. There’s really not any other good video game stores in the area. So it gets the job done… but it isn’t anything stellar. However, the salespeople here actually treat me(a girl!) like I exist, so that’s always a plus.
