Avoid this office at all costs. Not only do they over charge for office visits, but they also don’t inform customers about hidden costs. The receptionists are rude, argumentative, and interrupt you when speaking. I was never informed of a $ 100 fee to talk to the doctor about contacts. Now they want to foot me with the bill. The receptionist is so rude! I will never ever go to this office again and would not recommend this business.

This is a great optometrist. She is extremely professional and she always takes good care of me. It seems as if she cares about all of her patients individually with extra special care. If needed she always takes the time to see me for whatever reason. Her office staff is also very professional and organized and finally on the ball, which can be rare in the medical industry as I have witnessed from other medical offices!!! All in all a class act above any other!!! I definitely recommend anybody go to her who needs attention given to there eyes!!!

We started going here about 8 to 10 years ago and were always pleased. In 2006 we moved to Sycamore. The first Dr. we tried had me seeing in «3D», the prism was off. Five or six attempts at adjustments and finally gave up and made the 40+ mile trip back. It turns out the«drastic» change they said were needed in reality needed only minor tweaking. About two years ago, a friend recommended someplace closer to home. Similar experience to the first, this time just could not read street signs. Only took one attempt at a fix before we decided to write off the cost of yet another pair and back out here to Wheaton. We have never been disappointed and do not recall having to come back for anything more than minor fit adjustments. Our most recent examine is probably among the most thorough we(wife and I both og hre) have been given in sometime and the new glasses fit perfect and no complaints about the correction. Would highly recommend.

I’m nervous that I’m ruining my vision by Unilocaling from my phone, in the dark, while nursing Baby to sleep. Macular degeneration, anyone? Yet here I am, still doing it. Anyway, I found this doctor through a combination of my insurance co and Mary J’s review. I didn’t know what to expect since I’ve probably only had one other eye exam in my life, but Dr. C and her staff were pleasant and put me at ease. The staff did the formalities and basic testing first, and then the doctor spent about an hour reviewing my family history, asking questions about my eyes, and doing her actual testing. She was extremely thorough! She ascertained from passing conversation that I am breastfeeding my daughter, so she decided not to dilate my pupils for a certain type of test, instead doing the test another way that allowed her to avoid using any sort of additives or medications. I really appreciated the caring and attention to detail the doctor displayed, which I’m sure would be applicable to a variety of situations and health conditions. As it turns out, my vision is fine and my eyes are just somewhat dry and sleep deprived. But I’ll keep Dr. C’s info on file for next time I need an eye exam, and I’ve already recommended her to any family and friends who care to listen(and probably some who don’t).

I took my #2 son here for contacts yesterday. It was his second attempt and he failed. He just has this thing about touching the area around his eyes. I felt compelled to write about how patient and understand they were with him. Since it’s a small office I could pretty much hear what was being said and it was amazing how they dealt with him. He was upset and yet they had some great calming words. The best was when the tech ran out into the parking lot when we were leaving to give him eye drops! She told him to practice using those and it would help next time he tried the contact lenses route.
