My car pooped out on me on my way home from work, and miraculously I was next to this shop on Kipling. It was a few minutes after 5:00 PM, and I was certain they would shove me out the door if they were even still there— but no, Tony welcomed me in, checked in my car, took my key and chauffeured me to the rental car place so that I wasn’t stranded in 5:00 traffic (because Enterprise doesn’t always «pick you up» as they say in their ads). He made sure that the rental car was available and was a true gentleman. He called me the next day, as promised, with a diagnosis, quote and encouragement. My mechanic friends in Texas agreed that it was a fair price for the part/​labor required to fix my car. My car was ready to go by the end of the day, literally 24 hour turn around. It’s nice to find a shop that I can trust.

These guys are the best — I rolled in 20 minutes after closing from out of state with a broken down car and they went above and beyond to get me back on the road.
Service second to none and totally honest. Can’t recommend more!

Took a chance with this place, but I had a feeling that my transmission problems would be too ‘hard’ for my regular shop. Walker was a great experience. And to find they offered other services to fix my heater/​ac problem and an oil change was a plus.
Tony has great customer service and even new it was me when I arrived to pick it up (we had only talked on the phone).
Every detail was explained to me before they did any work and they were very cognizant of my budget. They go out of their way to double check things and make sure they can offer the best and most accurate repair possible.
Luckily the necessary repairs were 25% under budget but it was nice that I didn’t get stuck with a big bill I wasn’t expecting.
I liked getting multiple daily updates to make sure we were on the same page. Compared to my regular shop, the oil change was more expensive, however I will return for any of the larger repairs that may seem beyond the capabilities of my regular shop. Especially if I want a repair handled with «Extra» care. I’d know it’s in good hands at Walker.

Customer service is really good. Took my truck in for a new tranny. It cost a bit more than AAmco but Tony actually wanted to do the work by the way he acted. The guys at AAmco, could care less I even walked in the door. Walker does excellent work and whats even better is when they do something wrong, they own it and take responsibilty for it. Unlike many other auto repair shops.
