Watch your receipts. They are overcharging on sales tax confirmed by the city of Arvada. Reported to they city in December and still overcharging. Employees RUDE when you ask if the issue has been corrected. Mouthy and mean about it even when asked nicely. Why should I just give Popeyes free money? The rate is a PIF of 3.21%, that total is then taxed at 4.75%. Popeyes is charging a PIF of 1.65% and then a tax of 8.11%.
For the food if you go at the right time it is ok. Avoid the fries, they make them at 9AM and leave them sit all day. Non peak times the chicken is old and dried out as they make a ton ahead of time.

It’s fast food and its Popeyes and good alternate to everything else that has been in that area for awhile to choose from. Food has always been hot and served quickly. Restaurant is clean so can’t ask for much more when there is a drive through. Highly recommend the biscuits they taste great and go well with the spicy chicken.

So we did the drive threw toward the end of their hours. We ordered chicken nuggets and a plate with sides. I guess the kitchen didn’t feel like making what I actually ordered, so they literally took a different kind of chicken, CUT IT INTO SMALLER PIECES and apparently that was good enough for them. They also managed to mess up the sides we ordered, or maybe just ran out of those, too. The food we did get was not good, not to mention totally wrong. I would never go back.

Not impressed. Been here a few times, food isn’t being prepared properly. To add insult to injury, their prices are NEVER what popeyes is advertising on TV, radio, or internet. Expect to pay a minimum of $ 1 on top of any advertised price. Won’t be back.

Great for a quick bite. Hot and crispy. My favorite is the spicy chicken. This place is a nice addition to the Wheat Ridge/​Arvada area. New stand alone building in the Target shopping center. Tuesday special was a leg and thigh for $ 1.19. I had that and a drink for $ 3.33. Very friendly folks at the register and my food was out before I was done paying.
