Grease Monkey

Outstanding customer service and speed.
On 05/​28/​2016, I was in need of a very simple business vehicle inspection that takes only 10 — 15 minutes with a pre-​written form.
This location took me in with zero delay and EXCELLENT customer service. This was quite a refreshment after frustration and much wasted, precious time at Jiffy Lube and Pep Boys with no help.
I called ahead and the staff told me to come on over and that there were two open bays available.
Within SECONDS (literally) of pulling up, an individual was taking down information about my vehicle and greeted me at my car window. I walk in and the staff at the front was friendly and glad to help. Before I was even done checking out, the inspection had already started in the garage!
Everything was done in 20 — 30 minutes. Wow. What a day-​saver. Because of their speed, I was able to accomplished everything else I needed to accomplish that day in a very tight time frame.
Besides the service, the waiting room was kept up and pleasant.
I have been going to Grease Monkey for oil and air-​filter changes for years. This location ensured that they will keep that business.

While the service was fast I would not describe it as friendly. I took my car in for a basic oil change and while I got that without issue my washer fluid was not topped off and the air in my tires was not filled. I also asked for my tires to be rotated. I was told that they could not find the appropriate tool to take the lug nuts off, they asked me to find it for them. I has no idea what they wanted and told them the only thing I had was with the spare or in the glove compartment with the original packets. I was told that wasn’t what they needed. Regardless they do this everyday and other locations did not require anything else to complete the task. When I looked it up at home the piece I told them about was exactly what was needed. There is no way I am taking my car back to this place.

My friend recommended me this place. Didn’t have to call for an appointment; got my oil and air filter changed, along with many recommendations and test results from my car… Definitely coming back!

Pretty friendly staff but more importantly the quickest oil change I’ve ever had. It was clean and the waiting room was nice and cool. Recommended!

Unfortunately we brought my car to this location because it is close to my work. After my oil change, I noticed that my car smelled like burning oil. I suspected that they might have just spilled some while changing the oil and continued on. A few days later I brought my car to another shop to have it looked it. They opened my hood to look, and noticed there was oil everywhere along with cigarette butts, mind you, I don’t smoke, and really don’t appreciate cigarette butts being left in my engine! They also failed to inform me that one of my seals was leaking oil. Which is something they definitely would have seen when they were changing the filter. Overall, I am unimpressed with the service I received and will not be returning to any location.

Friendly and fast service! I was lucky to get in on a Friday when there were no lines. I was in and out within 15 minutes and they didn’t pressure me to do additional stuff other than the oil change I wanted.

We had an oil change on our minivan a few weeks ago and went back for a bulb and they were so fast and charged me a fair price. Just wonderful

This is an update to my last post. I went there a few months ago and had my front and rear differentials drained and refilled. They also did an oil change. After I brought my car home, the next day I realized that there was a big puddle of oil under my car, and my front differential was soaked. I had my car towed to a local mechanic whom I trust because I didn’t know what was leaking and how bad it was, and luckily they said that no seals were damaged. They reported that my car’s oil was likely overfilled. I was happy with that answer but my trust in Grease Monkey is significantly lowered. I don’t know if I’ll bring my car back to these guys again.

The girl that answered the phone was rude… Just tell a person that they can bring their own product don’t sit there and tell him that it cost the same amount as your lowest service. Take a minute listen to customers… Instead of sound like to corporate robot. This took place on the phone I would want to go there and have that happened to me in person! do not recommend this place!

Fast and friendly!

This is the best place for an oil change, hands down. The people who work here are super friendly and professional, are fast and efficient, and never try to up-​sell you on a bunch of crap you don’t need. Maybe it’s all in my head, but I swear my car runs better every time I leave here. Even my husband, who’s a total car guy, has no complaints about this place and won’t take his car anywhere else. Oh, and if you like to support local businesses, there’s also a sign that says this Grease Monkey is a locally owned, family-​run business that’s been operating at this location since 1979. Nice. If your car could talk, it would thank you for taking it here.
