Hair Cuttery

I hate to write this review because I always believed in «If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all» but, writing my experience assuming they will do a retrospective and fix the issues.
I can call myself a regular coz this is the only saloon I visited in the last 1 year except for once. I am not sure if they’ve new management or new employees, things have changed recently. They have become rude from very nice people (not the same people; new faces). This lady was rude as soon as I entered, made some silly comments with her colleague. When I sat down, she asked what are we doing tonight, I casually answered haircut, she reacted «No kidding, I’m not making pizza here» pretty rudely. It was totally unnecessary, I usually say hair cut coz people get lot of things done in a saloon, I assume. She never smiled or spoke to me once. Moved my head haphazardly as she wished (which is expected but because of the complete experience, it felt pretty negative). I thought she was having a bad day, and didn’t want to react or leave a bad tip, and wanted to give her another chance. Returned later for another haircut, same rudeness, no smile. I was smart enough to reply this time with what I want instead of «haircut», so as to avoid embarrassment. It was same experience all over again.
I will not go back to this place and ready to drive couple of miles more to go to some other place but, I wanted to let them know of their behavior and fix it. I’m not sure it is because I’m «brown skin“or it is just the way she is but, I believe haircut is part of service industry and supposed to be pleasant experience or at the least shouldn’t be a negative. If she has some genuine issues coincidentally on both the occasions I’m genuinely sorry and hope she feels better.

I go at 2:30. Handwritten sign on door says closed 2 – 3. Hours on door says open until 5 on Sunday’s.
Go back at 4:28, door is locked but people are in the chairs getting their hair cut. I knock and some rude woman tells me they take their last cuts at 4:30. That’s weak. Change the hours on your door.
I won’t return.
