There’s a pharmacist here, a young guy with glasses, who just hates work. I asked him to make a call to speed up transferring a prescription and he was so reluctant, he tried to make excuses to get out of doing it. His Highness came just short of rolling his eyes at me even though I would have had to leave and come back the next day. I forced him to do it despite him trying to weasel out of making a single call, and it took 15 minutes. Later I heard him and the older pharmacist trading stories of all the«stupid» customers that bothered them. The rest of the CVS is great but the pharmacists are ridiculously awful. Passive aggressive losers.

The last time I came home(my home of 20 years). I’d been gone about 3 yrs so I have an oregon ID. And I went to buy cigarettes and the young dude working behind the counter dead seriously asked me «what country is oregon in?»… Just thought I’d share that fun fact

Ok, I am going to misuse my Unilocal powers. While this is a perfectly fine, new CVS located near the new train station and a Dunkin’ Donuts with adequate parking– I am more interested in the former establishment that it replaced. Come on people, you have to recall the Bargaineer! I think it had another name in between, but the Bargaineer is what I will always remember. It was one of those old crappy junk stores where you could find the randomest stuff imaginable. I still remember that they had a clothes section, a fake flower section in the back and, my personal favorite, the stationary section in the middle. I used to buy romance novels that had the covers ripped off them for like 25¢ Maybe I should credit all of those Danielle Steel novels that I bought at the Bargaineer for becoming an English major?
